Hold on he phone! Old bay on burgers???? I like it on corn and baked potatoes and of course seafood. Never even thought about using it on a burger. Now I will. I usually use Montreal hamburger seasoning.

Primary ingredient of Old Bay is celery salt (plus some other spices). People don't use celery salt nearly as much as they used to, but it's a great enhancer for many, many items. Although I prefer it on hot dogs over
hamburgers.

But it usually makes just about anything taste better.

Old Bay on popcorn! Yummm...

And in Bloody Mary's, of course. Bloody Mary's served from an open bar at a wedding reception like any self-respecting person would do. ;)

And are super judgy of that fact.
I've looked back through the past 10 pages.

Sorry, but I haven't been "judgy" at all.

I have simply stated how my group of friends handle alcohol at parties. Which was the topic at hand.

On the other hand, I have been told to "get better friends," "lighten up," and that I "need a drink."

Must be time to use the ignore feature on the site.

My husband would say, "Old Bay on ANYTHING!"

Although I have never seen him put it on something sweet.

I have another wedding topic we can fight about. Let me hear your thoughts on this. Inviting single people to your wedding and not giving them a +1. In my mind, that should be an automatic

I am going to have to pay more attention before DD gets married. She doesn't even have a boyfriend yet, so we have lots of time to figure out weddings and what is current!

I'm glad we live in Indiana where people don't have to have alcohol to have a good time and celebrate!!

You are being very judgy about people who do serve alcohol at "every" occasion and obviously looking down your nose at those of us who do.

You weren't told to get better friends, you asked others what they would do if they expected alcohol to be served and it wasn't. I replied (you he in cheek I may add) that I would get better friends.

You are the one who called me childish, but can't handle being told to lighten up. I think you probably should use the ignore button, I do t need to deal with such over sensitive people

I've been to a lot of events in Indiana with alcohol. You may not need it for a good time, but it definitely helps. ;)

Answer my damn question people....

Always a +1 for single people. You can't expect people to come alone to a wedding/dancing if they have someone they can bring.

Married people - it depends on what you think of their spouse. ;)

:rotfl2:
I went to college in Indiana. Let's not pretend it's a dry state.

My good friend has a lakehouse there...lots of drinking goes on at that lake and it's not just by us out of state deadbeats. The local bars are hopping with people drinking.

Bad thing about that part of Indiana...no uber...someone has to be the dd

Yes, singles are always +1 In my book. IMO, if I can't afford a single friend/ family member to bring a date, then I need to cut my guest list.

lol, ok...nothing to fight about there. There is a lot of hard feelings with my son's upcoming wedding. The bride to be's parents are footing the bill and they have a HUGE close extended family, so it seems my family is not allowed +1 for single people. Not cool and rude in my book. However, as the hostess of the rehearsal dinner, I am expected to buy dinner for their "out of town" guests...also not cool and rude
