Another way to make a little extra cash for our Disney funds

It's best to get them uploaded earlier. I have only 2 remaining to be approved and then I should get almost $500. So I should be paid in one of their first batches.

Why does everyone wait until the end of the month to upload their videos? Wouldn't it be easier to do it throughout the month so the site traffic wouldn't be so heavy. Is their some benefit to waiting?

(I posted this question along with several others previously, but this one got lost in the shuffle. Hoping someone can provide an answer) TIA

I think most only just found out about the site recently. I have been uploading since July 1 and actually it was quite hard to upload through the first week of the month. The easiest times for me were the 2nd and 3rd week. I had procrastinated on 10 videos until the last day and they were extremely hard to get uploaded but did eventually get them done. DH and I were discussing this morning that we wanted to get started this weekend on the bulk of our videos and just pick a day and video as much as we could and then do all of our uploading in the next 2 weeks. I hope it goes well.

I started doing all my videos for this month.. and uploading them now is impossible... I think we may just do all the videos this week and upload next week when the masses settle down. I'm aiming for all $10 reviews... if me and DBF get them all we will be able to book vacation after this pay cycle!! :) :) :)

Just wanted to post a little challenge to everyone here on the Dis boards- because I know you all are up to it! :goodvibes

I have a lot of videos that have 0 plays still. I am sure there are others out there like me. My challenge to all of you is to watch as many of those videos as possible today- let's not let ANY of our Dis friends have a 0 play video!

I am at work now, but I am going to start pulling up videos from my Dis friends list, and let them play with no sound while I am working. Let those pennies rooooooolllllll! :rotfl:

Great idea! I think we should all try to do this at the beginning of every month when the server is not busy. :surfweb: :grouphug:

Okay, going to watch some now! But I get too caught up in actually watching them and then get nothing done!

Have you ever seen the lines at the post office on April 15th? :rotfl: Same thing applies here.

Could some one please tell me is there a list of what reviews they want or do you just send in what ever you want.:confused3

Just what you have and want to review. There is a list for categories that shows you which are worth $2 and which are worth $10 but you can review what you want as long as it is a nationally available product.

Allyson :)

None of mine are even approved yet...:confused3 I started July 27...oh well i must be patient!

My name on expotv is the same as here...once I actually get some videos approved, i would love it if some of you watched them:rotfl:

I don't know about the other members, but I just found expotv, joined last week and have been very busy making and trying ( this being the key word "trying" to upload everyday- ) I was able and ready but the site wasn't co-operating :confused3

It would make sense to upload early in the month- yes:thumbsup2 so I reationalised that if I waited until the 1st or 2nd, that the procrastinaters would be off of the site for a few days as I have been advised that the 1st was a great day to upload--if it was an overload problem---

 well, good luck because I'm still at it today and now it's lunch time and still only one video made it through the site and it says not available:sad2:

I don't think so many posters waited-

it just looks that way- I know that I've been at this for over a week and the site was shut down last weds- for a while and now it just keeps coming up as not found-----

No benefits that I know for waiting

I heard they were revamping the web page and I thought it was supposed to go up today. Maybe that's the cause of some of the lag?

Ok what category would automotive tools fall under? I mean not like just a screwdriver or something but big tools...like air guns and stuff from snap-on or matco? Anyone? I would have thought cars but the subcategories there are the different makes of cars, accessories, and then other. Not sure if this would fall under other.

OK. I'm in. I'm Princess Lulu over there!
I actually joined last week when everyone was going nuts to submit, but haven't tried to submit anything til today. Now I'm waiting. And waiting. :surfweb:
I have no idea if I'm uploading correctly. I used my Microsoft Life Cam (web cam) and Windows Movie Maker. I just poked around a while in Save---I don't know what I've done! I think I made it end in WMV or whatever, but I really don't know!
And Windows Movie Maker pros out there?

I do think I did a neat little clip of MGM and CSR. I just don't know if the world will ever see it!

Edited: Ok, I think I had some misinformation below so I deleted it. Looks like epxo only pays out once per month? If that is true, that is much better as per paypal fees. :)

I've been staring at the loading bar for about 15 minutes and there isn't the tiniest bit of color filling in. How long does it usually take?:confused3
