We are eating dinner. Early, I know.. but im hungry. :lmao: I went out and got pizza from Papa Murphys.. YUM.

okay. I had a most embarrassing thing happen last night. Well.. at first I was totally freaking out. I rolled over in bed, and all of the sudden everything was wet. I didnt have to use the bathroom or anything. I felt no pressure on my bladder, I swear I though my water broke. I got up.. kinda freaking out. Checked... and I must have wet my bed. :guilty: OMG. Im 27 years old and cant even control my bladder. It was horrid. I dont know if a baby hit me the wrong way, or what. My husband was so nice about it too. :sad1:

That would be weird! Especially since you didn't have the sensation of going, you know? Durn little soccer players in there are practicing on your bladder! :lmao:

it was crazy. I felt NOTHING. On top of the braxton hicks I have been having almost constantly..ugh. Stick a fork in me. Im done. :sad2:

I just placed an order at the online Disney store today. GEESH, it was sooo annoying! I have an older computer, and they recently made some changes to the Disney site, and it must involve a lot more RAM usage because (at least on my end) it runs slower than molasses! UGH.

It took forever to order six items (of course I poked around quite a bit first), and then HUNG on the final screen for placing the order! So I wasn't sure if I had the order secured or not. I finally called them, and the gal said she wouldn't be able to tell if it went through or not for like another half hour. So I resubmitted and hoped I didn't just order twice. In fact, I need to call them back to make sure, she said she'd cancel one if it went through twice.

I have heard a lot of people are having trouble with them.

UGH, I remember those. No fun!

DANG IT, time to take the boy to his class. DH had to work a bit late today (can you believe that?! Already!) :rotfl:

So I am taking the munchkin with me to sit still for an hour while his brother has his class. Oh joy...

Hello Hyenas,

Bernice- Congrats to your DH on getting the job. That's awesome news! :dance3:

Alison- Welcome to the world of Wii!! :teeth: You will soon become a Wii-a-holic like the rest of us! :rotfl: That's cool that you got one. It's lots of fun :) Best games IMO are: Wii Sports (comes with the console), Wii Fit is cool and Wario Smooth Moves is hilarious! I'm sure you would like it. :teeth: Seriously, Wario is hilarious and you guys would like it. ;) Cooking Mama and Mario Kart are fun too :)

Well I know that DS already has Mario Kart for his Nintendo DS, so best not to duplicate games. I'll check out Wario and Cooking Mama though.:thumbsup2

I had that elproblemo while pregnant with DS. He was very low and pressing right on my bladder. I even had to wear pads for a while to contain the leakage. Not fun let me tell you!

Oh I see how it is...just when we thought you had an allegiance to the spork you toss him aside for a fork!:rotfl:

Funny bedwetting story...a friend of our started wetting the bed at night (in his mid to late 20's). His wife became concerned because it was getting worse and worse. So she sent him to the doctor...as you can imagine all sorts of fun at the urologist. They put him on different medications, yet nothing seemed to help. So every morning she pulled the wet sheets off and replaced them...every night he was once again wet.

One day she was very tired, not feeling well and decided to lay down in the middle of the day and take a little nap...well that night when they went to go to bed he discovered that the new fresh sheets she put on that morning were wet!!

Like the rest of us in the 80's, they had a waterbed. It seems that it developed a tiny little hole in it, but only leaked when someone laid on it and put enough pressure on the mattress. Sure enough when she laid down for a nap in the middle of the day it was enough to make it start leaking.

10 office visits and hundreds of dollars later his bedwetting problem was solved.:rotfl2:

Hey Alison!

Hi Megan! Just killing a little time here at the office. All of our manager's are here for a manager meeting and we are meeting for dinner at 6:45. So no use in driving home, just so I can turn around and drive back 15 minutes later.

Yup. Makes sense to me!

ds4's slightly revised rendition of old mcdonald:

"ho adonnell had a farm,
eee iiiii eeee iiiii yo!"

too funny!!! he really sings it just like that, with the emphasis on the "yo"! :rotfl2:

Thanks everyone :flower3:
Hubby and I were watchng the news about the increase in unemployment and various charity programs are hurting this year with less donations and increase in people needing services. As DH said, we are so fortunate and have much to be thankful about this year.

He was fun to watch after work today, very bouncy and filled with pride. He said he felt like he was over caffeinated, without having any caffeine.
Such a change from last year where he came home and fell apart, feeling like a failure everyday (because the principal said he was).
Here, every staff who observes tells him he is doing great. He says no really, be truthful, their behavior sucks. Staff person said.. oh no , you have more control of the classroom than most teachers. Which shocks hubby, how do they teach if they are worse than this?? (yapp yapp yapp all class and not listening to instruction)

He was telling me today, he's glad he didn't get the job in our district after all. As much as it would be nice to be close to home and work for a district that has the technology and supplies that are needed. The type of student here is much different than an inner city student. The urban school is his best environment.

I feel that he can be a great role model for these students.

He grew up poor, but that didn't stop him from trying to do better for his family.

He grew up in a household where spousal abuse and child abuse was the norm.. but he chooses to break that cycle, to not to be that person.

He did not do well in school, he didn't graduate, got a GED.. BUT he graduated with honors from college, while dialyzing three times a week, working part time and having a family.

Not only does he work the entire school day and pressing the students to do better--but when he goes home, his day is not done..he must dialyze 6 days a week.

He could sit home and collect a disability check, but he chooses to work.

:flower3: :flower3: :flower3: :flower3:

Oh!! You guys are here! I didnt even notice!

B. Im so happy for you guys! That is just killer.

Thanks everyone :flower3:

that was an awesome post (these are just my favorite parts), and you must be so proud of your dh! :goodvibes

i hope he enjoys this new challenge, and i'm sure it is a challenge with these kids. but wow, what a feeling it must be to play such an integral part in shaping a young person's life, perhaps even helping to turn them around. he's a true hero! :thumbsup2

i'll brb, i need to check on the boys, who are supposed to be in bed now. i doubt dh gave ds4 all his meds and lubed him up with vaseline for his eczema, so i need to make sure that gets done. :)
