Groovy. I am getting my mom a digital picture frame.. and filling it with pics of the kids. She is going to love it! Im thinking about sending my crazy mil on a nice vacation to a padded room for a while.

Those are cool! My sister got one for my parents last year and they still don't know how to use it.
Thats why we are filling it up before she gets it... Otherwise it would sit in the box.... Until we filled it for her. She is technically challenged. Like me!
My mom on the other had is technologically challenged and is still struggling with text messaging on her blackberry.
I got DH one of those a few years ago, when they first came out. I got it from Costco, and had it delivered to my mom's house (so DH wouldn't see it.)

It either wasn't delivered (my mom was home, never heard/saw a truck) or was stolen off their porch (what the mail service claimed), so Costco sent another one.
Finally it arrived, like a week after Christmas; better late than never, right? WRONG. It quit working on the first day!
So after all that, we sent it back to Costco, and they returned the money. He's wanted to get a new one, but was gonna wait a year or two until there were some consumer reports about the brands available.
How awful!! 
Hey.. Do you know anything about those mini lap tops that are all the rage now? I had never heard of them until the past month or. Anyhoo... I was looking at them, but I dont know if they are totally useless, or what.

I know. I asked hubby if he had heard anything about them, sinc ehe usually talks computers and whatnot with the guys he works with.. but he said no one had really brought them up. We read up and they dont play dvds... Which is kinda pointless for a laptop.. You know? I dont know.. Just thinking out loud again. and probably not making any sense.
