My in-laws are also looking to purchase in the DVC along with us. We will each have our own accounts with our own points...then, if we vacation with them, we will combine points. Assuming we both buy in the same resort, the SSR, and we book a two bedroom for 450 points, can MS draw 225 points from each account for the reservation, or do we need to do a point transfer. I only ask because the new enforcement of the point transfer rule could limit our options on this. Thoughts or advice would be greatly appreciated!!

I'm not sure but if not, worst case, you could always book a few nights using x # of points, the in-laws could book a few nights using x # of points & you could have the ressies linked so you don't have to move.

You could transfer points into one of the accounts to make the entire reservaton, but a simpler method is just what MinnieGirl33 suggested. You could each make part of the reservation and MS would just link it all together into one so you would not need to move. We've done that many times without any problems at all and it is a lot simpler than transferring points between accounts.

Enjoy! :)
