Another Eye surgery. Update #92

I'm back....

They looked again and again and did another eye pressure measuring and they couldn't find anything.
My eyes are totally fine (except from what was already wrong).

Because they can't find anything and now they have ruled out any eye problem they send me to a Neurologist.

The waiting time in that particular hospital was somewhere around 7-8 weeks so i decided to try the hospital in my hometown.
There i called and they told me that the waiting time is around 3 weeks but that it wasn't smart to wait that long...... (that was what i was thinking to, i'm not going to walk around with a head like this for 3 more weeks).
So they explained to my if my family physician would call they could probably give me an emergency appointment.

So what did i do, i called my family physician but he is on vacation for 2 weeks.
Because we where driving in the neighbourhood of the substitute family physician we thought of dropping by and explain the problems.
So we did and they are going to call the neurologist and make an appointment for me.
Probably they give me a ring tomorrow and then i know more.....

(this whole story is so arghhhh that if i hadn't already a headache i could get one from this....)

Update time....

This is not a nice update because we are not one step further...
My headaches are still there and driving me crazy.


On thuesday the substitute family physician called back that they can't do anything and that only the eye doctor can cal the neurologist to make an emergency appointment.

So i called tuesday my eye doctor and explained the process she needs to do for me.
She was complaining a bit but said that she would call for me and try to arrange something.

Well she didn't.
We are still waiting for her to call a neurologist...........

Wednesday i called back the hospital to let her know that she still had to make that call...
Today Emiel called again and still no word from her.

It's just a brick wall we're hitting and we can't do anything about it

Emiel called back again this afternoon and was then told that my eye doctor wasn't even in today..........
We called back again to the neurologist and they couldn't help much, but there was a appointment cancellation just before Emiel called and they gave that one to me (next friday feb 20) so at least i have an appointment now for a bit over a week....

Glad you got an appointment Yvet and thanks for the update. I had been thinking about you guys since your last updates.

I wish you could get in sooner because I worry it could be something that needs quick attention. We'll be thinking about you until you get through this. Get well soon, okay!
