I often take crescent rolls and stuff them with ham and cheese, pepperoni and cheese, or chicken, bar-b-q sauce, and cheese and bake. Is there anyway I can do the above and then freeze before baking? Or, should I bake and then freeze?
I'm asking because I befriended a substitute that works often in the building I teach in and she is having a baby in December. She and her DH live away from all their friends/family as he is a resident at a local hospital. I'd like to make her a few different meals that freeze well for her to keep on hand for when the baby arrives. I make the above often as my kids love it and I remember one time when talking about it at work she commented on how good it sounded. I thought about making it for her but I wasn't sure if the crescent rolls would freeze well.
TIA!
