Annual Passholders - get ready for Magic Bands

I'm super curious if I will be able to schedule FP+ for my party members that don't have MB yet once the MB's ship... or do we have to do something to activate them?

I have magic bands for my other members( from a past stay in Sept) of our party however since they are off site this trip... I cannot book their fast pass plus until their annual pass magic bands ship or are active online. I hope they become live soon.

I did put in the customized order and hope that when they ship they are active online so I can book their fast passes to match ours using the "copy"... I have not tried this before but hoping it works!

Speaking of E-Mails...

In the old system, it was really easy to change your "communication preferences" when it came to the types of E-Mails you wanted to receive. Since they've updated everything, I can't find it.

I have a feeling I unchecked everything.

Anyone able to find this still?

really hoping mine ships and arrives quick. I'm in the parks the next 5 weekends. Actually, I feel stupid it even has to ship, given I'm just down the street. But they're probably not shipped from WDW anyway.

Woohoo! All 4 of us have ours ordered. No tracking numbers yet though.

(Not that it really matters... we already have 4 MagicBands and FP+ from a previous one-night stay)

Anyone here with a Premiere Passport Annual Pass been able to order the MagicBands yet?

I was able to order them today, they were not available yesterday.

So, I logged in this morning and my daughter has a second band attached to her AP. I customized it and requested shipping.

Also, there was a tracking number showing up in MDE for my first two AP bands the other day, now that is gone and it is back to the message of shipping mid March.

Gotta love Disney IT.

I don't know if anyone else has posted this yet, but I can make FP+ selections for 30 days out. I had an onsite stay with these AP's already though, so I'm not sure if that is why they are active.

I can now make FP reservations online. AP holder and did not have a previous on-site stay. Yay!

I posted this on another thread but I called and was told that AP holders without resort stays are only going to be able to book 30 days out (maximum of 7 days in a row) not the 60 days out that you can book if you're staying onsite.

I was just able to book FastPass!

Funny how my "best" option was all late night FastPasses, and my "worst" was morning ones, but anywho.

I was just able to pick also. I tried out Epcot. I picked Test track! Mission Space, and spaceship earth. Mission space was the problematic ride. I could only get early morning or after 4pm for that choice. Pretty much any time was available for Test Track.

Has anyone gotten their AP MagicBands yet? I'd love if someone posted pictures of the box, materials, and extras that we AP's get... I'm curious to see if it's any different than what resort guests get.

Haven't received ours yet, but the bands are the same as for resort guests. The packaging will also include a Passholder Slider and a Discount Card. The Discount Card will be either Gold (includes parking) or Black (no parking).

Sounds like accurate 411.

My FP+ booking options only went out 30 days. I'm very cool with that. It's 30 days I didn't have yesterday.

I'm hearing two different things about the 7 days, but I have no reason to try.

1. Max 7 days in a row OR
2. Max 7 days within the 30, but not necessarily in a row.

I was able to make my FP+ for the 1st time ever without waiting in line at the parks. So exciting (though I'm still not a huge fan of the product as is).
