Annual Pass?

Hi:
I have a question about the Annual Passes. DH and I already have our passes (just renewed in December, missed the discount). Anyway, we are going to be taking our granddaughters in October while Mommy & Daddy take a cruise and then will join us after the cruise. We were thinking of getting annual passes for them (they will be 3 and 9), but it looks like that we won't be able to get the discount because they don't live in our house although they are immediate family. From the DVC site, I'm assuming I'm correct on this. Does anyone know of any discount we might get for them? We will be there for probably two weeks and they will be there for at least 10 out of those 14 days, maybe the whole 14, depends on how many days Mommy & Daddy will stay upon return from the cruise. Any suggestions would be great.
Thanks!

No, sorry, they won't be eligible for the discount.

One thing to consider other than an AP would be a 10-day Magic Your Way ticket with the Plus pack. You'll get 5 plus options, which are visits to the waterparks or DisneyQuest. You can spend 10 days in the main theme parks. And, if they end up being with you for the full 14 days, just pick some days to NOT go to one of the four theme parks, and simply use a Plus option for Typhoon Lagoon or Blizzard Beach.

Also, don't forget to upgrade your annual pass to a Premium Annual Pass when you arrive. Even though you bought your pass before the discount, Disney will allow you to upgrade the pass and get the discount on the upgraded PAP. The net result is that you'll get a PAP upgrade for free--some people have even reported getting a small refund from Disney after upgrading. Your new PAP will still have the same December '05 expiration date, but you'll be adding unlimited admission to TL, BB, DQ and Pleasure Island.
