Is there any advantage to purchasing an annual pass online vs purchasing it at the park?

You won't have to deal with it when you get there. If you know you want it, I'd go ahead and do it. If you're unsure, I'd purchase a regular ticket and just find a lull in the middle of the day to stop at one of the guest services locations throughout the parks if you see no line and do it then. That's what I usually do.

If you don't mind, I have a piggyback question about APs. I have seen people reporting they have their new expiration dates from the closure extensions but I can't find a way to check it in the app or on the website like I can with Disney. My Disney dates still haven't changed either. Do I have to call, or is it hidden somewhere?

I used the UOAP # to verify my new expiration date.
I called them.

I did a chat via the app to get my new expiration date - have to have your AP # to enter for them to look it up - took only a few minutes :)!

I linked my ticket with my account using the "visual ID" and a day later I saw the new expiration date.

We currently have 2 day park to park with 2 days free + Volcano Bay and one night at RP.
We are thinking about changing to RP room only and purchasing the Seasonal AP. The price will be a bit cheaper (almost the same), but being that we are coming back in 7 months we would have entry to the parks paid with the passes.

Currently it looks like the Seasonal AP's only have early entry until the week before we arrive next month.
Will that likely change / be extended?
Do Seasonal AP's normally have early entry?
Will our days we are staying at RP have early entry with room only purchase?

Thanks!

When you stay at RP, you receive free ep for check in and check out day for the parks.

I keep my preferred AP renewed each year due to the perks.
The AP chart will show present info for benefits of each ap category.
The seasonal AP has limitations listed.
If that ap excludes your dates for your park time, check out the other ap levels

is that the same as the link tickets section? Mine still shows the original expiration date of August 31st. I bought an 18 month promotion pass last year and am worried they haven’t extended because “I already got” those free months.

The site has a listing of June dates that there will be EE for Seasonal AP's.
Do they normally add days later?

If capacity gets high, will they deny entry to AP holders?

Thanks again!

Quick question on the UOAP Seasonal Annual Pass - Can you still visit on Mardi Gras days with this pass as long as a concert isn't scheduled for that day? I just want to make sure I understand this restriction > Admission To Select Special Events & Concerts

Yes, you can enter both parks on days which don't have concerts. On concert days, you can still emter IoA but will be blocked out of the Studios side.

Season APs do not normally get EE. All who stay at any UO hotels do get EE, regardless of how you booked the room (ie, even if it was booked on Hotwire for cheap).

Anyone know if the seasonal passes at Publix will have the 3 free months?

It would be great to get them at 5x points. Also I would assume they would not activate until the first time we go to the parks right??

I have another piggyback question - I saw that Universal is offering three months free, and that the preferred pass is less than $400. This seems like a good deal, but I’m wondering if the 15 months starts when you purchase the pass, or on your first day of admission.

If you buy this 15 month AP deal, is there a deadline for your first visit or can you use anytime in the future? We would be looking at Summer 2021 visit, for example.
