Annual Pass and magic band question

Sorry if this has been answered a ton. I did try and search for my specific question.

We were at Disney in April and had magic bands. We upgraded at the end of our trip to annual passes. We got the cards, but no new bands. Now looking on MDE it looks like it is asking for a shipping address (??).

So I have my previous bands and now we are staying onsite and apparently will get new bands at check-in. So will our annual pass show up on the new or old band? Does it matter which one we use? Ie can I use our old bands because they are different colors and since there are 4 of us I don't know how to keep track of the grey ones we will get at check-in? Or should we use the grey ones so that our hotel ressie is tied to them (and our free memory maker).

1. You will get ADDITIONAL new MB's with each new stay at a WDW resort.
Just the way Disney does it at this time.

3. Yes.

4. Yes. (Both)

5. No. Except for possibly the resort room door will only operate with one set of bands.
(Even that has not been reported except by a few guests.)

6. Yes.

7. You should be given an option of customizing your NEW bands, too.

8. I don't know if the resorts only issue grey bands anymore, anyway.

Brand New AP holder here. Not sure if our situation is the same. Did you link your AP ("tickets") to your MDE profile? We got to order our Magic Bands when we did that. Before shipping we were asked to confirm the shipping to address. Hope this is helpful.

I just noticed that it was asking for address today and we are coming in 2 days, so that is why I haven't filled it out. I was worried that ordering it would mess up our upcoming trip. I also probably could have customized our new resort ones, but we only just booked. Spur of the moment trip brought to us because of the annual passes.
