Announcing a store for the DIS!!

Lars624 makes bead jewelry. She has made some Lime Green earrings and bracelets for some of the Angels. Maybe she could sell some of her jewelry here.

Don't forget the Ft. Wilderness gang when you are stocking your store shelves. It sure would be nice to be able to get Ft. Wilderness logo items.:D

I'd love to see something for us campers at Ft. Wilderness...Spare tire covers...Lights to hang from our awnings...glow sticks to light our way...flashlights of the characters...t-shirts...how about a book that has all of the most popular tips from these boards???

I would also like to buy some scrapbook supplies for making up all the cool pages from the disney trips . . . .

albums
stickers
paper
punches
scissors
etc
etc

When is the store going to be open??
I can't wait!

I would also like to know when the store will be opening, I know that your stock will be just DIS-licious (couldn't think of a dis related prefix to fabulous).

What about stocking those great bottle strpas we always buy them on our trips and more often than not bring them back for friends that have admired ours and said what a great idea they are - never ever seen them here in the UK, but ours are well travelled and are coming to Spain ( Port Adventura ) with us next week.

Hello everyone out there. This is my first post and what a place to post. I would love to see a store that carries old Disney merchandise, or replicas of them. As well, clothing for adults which feature the main Disney characters.:D

Forgive me if I repeat anything someone else posted, but with 10 pages to read I simply do not have the time. First I would like to say great idea, when is this new store opening for business? Some of the things I would like to see are:

Lime green lanyards with your screen name.
Lime green luggage tags.
Pens
Pencils
Personalized writing paper with your favorite character and screen name.
Mouse pads.

I look forward to shopping!

Anything with Tinkerbell should have some lime green, don't you think?

I'd love to see some princess costumes.

I'd like to see the fanny packs and water bottle straps that some folks talk about on these disboards.

Good luck and let me know when this store is up and running!

Make sure to offer the shirts in kids sizes too. Think how easy it would be to spot your kids in a crowd if they are wearing lime green!

Also -
scrapbooking supplies
book of recipes from Disney restaurants
Christmas cards and/or all occasion note cards

I'm thinking that Brita filter sport bottles would lend themselves well to imprinting. I know that Brita makes them with no colored pattern on the outside. If you could find a supplier, I think that would be a HUGE seller with an imprint. (I think that the lids would still have to be blue, though.)

I always carry my Brita in a neoprene bottle holster, but not the sort that has the foldover holes at the top for a spout. Mine is just a cylindrical pouch with a drawstring on the top, plus a webbing handle and a plastic clip along one side. That design will hold anything, water bottle, soft drink, even a child's sippy cup. Here's an example: http://www.imprintsonline.com/doc/bottlebag.htm

People on these boards are always looking to buy autograph books, pressed penny books and Epcot passports to buy in advance for their kids. Are those types of items options?

Also:
Water bottles with a DIS name/logo
Guest of Honor name badges with the DIS name/logo

Hope that helps...This is a great idea!

When will the DIS Store be open? I would love to get stuff for our November trip.

Lime green luggage tags.
Collectible pins.
Water bottle straps.
lime green glow necklaces.

Don't know how this would work or if it could work, but often people like to buy the DD and don't have a DS nearby. If it could work with Disney's ok, you might have to charge a small fee but I bet a lot of Disers would be interested.

I would say...Lanyards that have a clear pocket on them to store park passes...( and ship to Canada pleeeaaasseeeeee!)

I love the DIS!

You can add other colors, too, though!

I'd like to see some inexpensive (lime green and/or Disney-themed) items that could be used for gift bags for trips (luggage tags, mini flashlights, lanyards, autograph books and pens, t-shirts, sunglasses, belly bags...). You could set a minimum purchase amount if margin is an issue.

For medium- and larger-ticket items:
I like the Unofficial Guide for guide books. Walt Disney biographies would be good to offer.
How about a calendar? The customize-able T-shirts from Disney are really great (you can pick the artwork and what you want written on it). A Dis-Boards shirt would be fun. I really like the home decor stuff from Disney. Someone could collect some of the best tips and typical Q/A from the DISBoards and publish a small booklet (or all-out book). That's pretty ambitious, but I'm just brainstorming. And as I brainstorm, can you sell Entertainment Books for Orlando?

Oh! Scrapbooking supplies in lime green and in Disney themes, of course.
