Anna & Elsa FP+ gone 71 days out?

I admit that I am no WDW planning pro, but I have done my fair share of research lately. So, can someone please give me a reason how the FP+ for the Anna and Elsa meet and greet could be gone 71 days out when FP+ selection doesn't even begin until 60 days out?

I understand that FP+ selection can be used on Day 1 of your trip and be made for the duration of your trip, but it seems pretty far in advance to be completely gone for the entire week of 5/27-6/4.

Think that they will be headed to Epcot by then?

All this planning....I'm disappointed to say the least.

How do you know the FP+ are all gone for that time period? Where are you looking?

perhaps looking at the Dubb website or Lines app?

People can book at 60 days + duration of their stay, right?

Even so, I think the most likely reason is the speculation that A&E *could* be moving to Norway at the end of May. I've seen recent reports that FPs are unavailable.

That would make sense. I was mostly asking since I wanted to see what source they were using to make a more "educated" guess as to what may be happening.

I do agree though, if there is the possibility that by the time OP is traveling that they may not be at MK yet, but Disney isn't ready to release the actual date of their move to Epcot, it would make sense that they would have no FPs released as of yet.

I've never seen that website... How accurate can it be?? Seems like it would clog up Disney's system with all of their hits.

I'm actually crossing my fingers that they go to Epcot. We have a breakfast ADR for Akershus there on the morning of 6/4. ;)

Speculation is FEA and A&E M&G open May 27thin EPCOT. The MK FP is not available starting the 27th of May, so it seems like that supports the EPCOT move.

Even during Christmas week, A & E were not gone immediately at 60 days out. I would say they are moving!
:car:

Well, that will certainly change things! New MK plan, new Epcot plan. Seems Mickey wants to keep me on my toes! ;)

We are there 6/4-6/11. We aren't interested in the meet and greet but definitely FEA. I'm just wondering when they will announce it. Not before our FP window opens on 4/5, I'm sure.

How do they project past the 60 day into day 71? Are they basing it on actual guests giving them info, or what? Not sure I'd trust getting second hand (or third hand) info.

Rumor says that they will be moving from MK to Epcot when the Frozen Ride opens, so they might not be offering FP for them at MK at all because of that.

I can book through June 3 and A&E is not available after May 26th. Cinderella and Rapunzel are also not available after the 26th, not sure what the plan is for them.

No projections involved. It's actually a program that looks at FP+ availability for 4 or 2 guests and updates the web page accordingly. If there's at least 1 FP+ available for 4 people - the color is green. If there is none for 4, then it looks for availability for at least 2 people and if found the color is updated to purple. If there's not even enough for 2 people (or if they are having an issue looking for FP+ for the date), the color is red (well, it's red to me).

I would not assume that the week after May 26th is out of FP+, but possibly they are having an issue looking for FP+ starting on that date.

I did our FP+ this morning and E&A are still at Magic Kingdom week of May 22. Of course this is subject to change but just wanted to let all know.

I did ours this morning too - were you able to get any FP+ for A&E? I, luckily I suppose, got one on May 22, but everything after that was already booked or showing as "Fastpasses have ended for the day." I was hoping to get one later in the week, but couldn't. This was at midnight and I was able to book through June 2 :confused3

Valerie160, I also booked for May 22. I did not look further into the week. We are also going to MK on May 26 but did not check on that day.
