I found a mini version of your big one. They are still 8-9" tall, but the base is smaller. I'm not sure if it's posable, but it looks like they are holding hands.

Thanks dear for looking for me! I stumbled across it too, but I don't think DF would dig the bobbleheads on 'em.

I think it's cute though!
YAY for 9 months and the harpist. Your flutes and hair accessory look lovely.
Aw, thank you!
That is so awesome!! You could always use it on the table. It's totally awesome.
I need to be careful, because if it's NMBC, there's a good chance I'll want it! So I need to make sure I run things by Jason first. Otherwise we'll have all kinds of Jack and Sally things, and my excuse will be "Um, they're potential cake toppers!".
Since the figurines come off the base could you use fimo clay to make a smaller base for them to stand on for the wedding and then put them back later if you wanted??
Hmm, I suppose I could look into that!

I'm not exceptionally crafty so my concern would be I would make it and it would look crappy.

That is a good idea though, for sure! Thanks!
Great news about the harp. Hope you get the cake topper sorted.
Thank you! I'm sure the topper issue will eventually sort itself out. I'm just grateful we have time on our side yet!
I stopped in from over at my PJ and wanted to say I love your dress! It is gorgeous and I love the way the tulle sparkles!
Why thank you! That's a lot of the reason why I fell head over heels for that gown! I didn't know I wanted a lot of sparkle until I tried it on and realized I did! Lol.
Everything is looking sooo amazing! Sorry to hear about the cake topper, but I'm sure you can make it work in another capacity. I love the glass paperweight, it's stunning!! Good luck making your decision!
Thanks hon! It's all meant to be I say! Everything happens for a reason, so whatever we end up with for it will be better suited I'm assuming.

Harpoonist, budget, DIY invites & a new career!
Funny story real quick before I share my updates with you all! So I don't know how many of you watch trashy reality tv shows, but my DF and I are addicted to them. We love the VH1 stuff like Rock of Love, Charm School and Tough Love. It's just a guilty pleasure to see how ridiculous these people are! So they had a show on earlier this year called Tool Academy. It was insanely fun to watch.

Well, on the finale, the 'tool' that won got to have a wedding to his girlfriend. His reaction to the set up wedding they had arranged for them was priceless! Here's a link to it:

LOL! Now Jason and I have been referring to our harpist-to-be as a 'harpoonist' ever since seeing that. So the other day I was looking at our harpist's biography on his website. He mentions a few famous projects he's been a part of, lo and behold, he lists VH1's Tool Academy finale!!!

I found this and immediately called DF, "OMG! You'll never believe this! We have THE harpoonist playing at our wedding!!!". This rocks beyond all words imaginable.

Haha!
ANYWAY! Just wanted to share that with you all! Onto the stuff that matters...
Got our contract in the mail from the harpist the other day, grand total for his services will be $315!! He's playing prelude, ceremony, postlude and then at our pre-reception for that amount! I'm so happy about it!
The other thing we got, was a revised version of our DFTW BEO from Cynthia! She added the Disney DJ in there for us, took our the ceiling drapery and harpist. Total for that is now $14,740!

Much more like it!
DF and I are leaning towards that engraved glass topper I found, but we'll still hunting for others!
I've been bugging Laurie to help me out figure out how to make my own invites at home recently. Being the doll she is, she designed a few invite mock ups for me! They are GORGEOUS! I'll have to post them here later once I blur out a bit of the detailed info (I trust you girls, but there are creepy lurker people in the world unfortunately

). So I'm trying to figure out what kind of paper to use, and how much it'll cost, etc! Wish me luck with that venture! Hehe.
Last but not least, I got laid off not quite a year ago and I've been collecting unemployment ever since while working on becoming a pharmacy technician. I just so happened to finish my schooling earlier this week!! Now I've gotta wait for the school to fill out my affidavit and then I can send my application in to obtain my pharmacy tech license!

I really can't wait to have a job again!
