Animal Kingdom

Does anyone know if Animal Kingdom does anything special for the holidays like the other parks do? Every year we go to all the parks except Animal Kingdom. We thought this year might be nice to see what goes on over there for the holidays (that is if its worth it).

Well AK to us is always worth it. They don't do anything out of the norm but the parade is Christmas themed. My kids love AK.

As the PP mentioned they have a special parade, Mickey's Jingle Jungle Parade. They also have a large tree and other decorations around the park. They, however, do not do any special shows etc.

I think its definitely worth seeing. The Xmas tree is pretty impressive and has an African theme which doesn't sound like much until you see it. I'm sure there are other decorations although nonew come immediately to mind. The parade is definitely worth seeing aas well.

Camp MinnieMickey has a lot of Christmas decorations, including a bunch of themed trees, and they play really cool Christmas guitar music back there, too. We love to wander around and look at each decorated tree, there are tons of fun details on them.

As previous post said Camp minnie mickey is decorated, also if you have little ones the characters in this area are all dressed in Christmas, for good pictures. Those trees are decorated themed to different characters, we make it a game to try and guess who's trees are who's.
