Animal Kingdom lunch vouchers

I just did a search about the AK lunch vouchers. None of them were very recent and I'm wondering if this program is still in effect. If so, could someone please supply details such as restaurants that accept the voucher, hours available, etc.

Also, do you buy the voucher at the restaurant counter or at guest services?

You can buy the vouchers at the restaurant or guest services. Kids are $5.99 and adults $10.99. I belive every sit down except RFC participates in the program. They are a great deal.

I've never heard of these vouchers - which restaurant do you purchase them at and what is included?

They are vouchers that are perforated into 3 sections. The first section is for your combo meal that includes a drink. The second for a bottle of water, and the third for an ice-cream or a popcorn. You can buy them at Tusker house, Flame tree BBQ, or the Mcdonalds place and I think guest services also.

Why buy them then if you're right at the park? Do they save you money - how much are they? Thanks for the info.

Basically the cost of the voucher(see above) covers your main meal and drink, after that your extra bottle of water and ice-cream or pop corn would work out to be free.

Sounds like a good deal. Can you use your ice cream and water voucher later in the day? Do you just purchase the voucher when you get to Animal Kingdom or when you're ready to eat? I learn something new on this site every day!

Yes you can use the other sections any time on the same day and we purchase ours when we place our order.
