Animal Kingdom Close at 7:00 in April and Pandora?

My current plan is to visit Animal Kingdom on Sat April 23. I just noticed Disney posted park closing at 7:00. I am trying to figure out my dinner reservation under the assumption we would be in AK until dark to see Pandora. Seems nightfall is around 8:00 pm. Is it still normal that AK is closing before dark? I'm wondering the chances of them extending the hours.

Since that's still 2 1/2 months out, my personal expectation is that the park will be open until at least 8PM that night. That might not help you with your dining reservation at this point, but 7PM just seems too early for late April. And it's really worth the stay to see Pandora at night......

I'm going April 28 and I just put it in my disney experience today and it said 9am-9pm for park hours

How do u see this? The Disney app still has April 28 grayed out?

Keep in mind they've been updating park hours about 2 weeks out. It's extremely frustrating when you have to make your plans around unknown hours... our hour before park open reservation just became an at open reservation... great for rope drop, and at 2 weeks out there's no other options left to pivot to.

Very true. I think almost every trip we have done, the hours have been modified. Either earlier, later or both.
All you can do, is guess and pick the times for ADRs that work for you and hope for the best.
As they say, sometimes you win, sometimes you lose, sometimes it rains.

How do u see this? The Disney app still has April 28 grayed out?

I put my plans into genie and it showed all the hours, but today it’s all gone and my tickets are gone. I tried reloading them and it says they are already linked. I swear I’m cursed at this point!

I got it back and see it again.
On the app. I loaded my reservations into my genie. When i go check on my reservations it shows the times.
