Animal Crossing Issues...

I need some advice/help.........

I did some ac today, then after i was done i did some time traveling.
I went to thursday and then saturday and then back to today.

I use to have a Nookington's but now i'm back to a Nook 'n' go....

What happend?????????????
I already had a Nookington's for ages now.......

Yvet!!!! Good to see you here!!!!! How are you?

Oh - you must have missed question day.... Nook periodically asks you what kind of service you want to see and then will change Nooks based on your response. If you said hours, you get Nook 'n' Go if you said variety, you stay Nookington's. Nookway is the compromise.... Aparently this is an "every month or so" kind of thing.

I wonder if you time travel past question day, does it default to Nook 'n' Go?

Lisa - they can be any - just as long as they are consistently watered and the AC Gods are smiling.

I have had flowers sitting there forever and finally one day - a hybrid!!!! It's the same glorious excitement that real world gardeners have! :hippie:

Okay that will make him happy. I have a feeling he will do some rearranging then with ones that we already have planted and water water water them!!!
We just assumed that our lack of green thumb some how funneled its way through the WiiMote and we just had no luck!! :upsidedow

My flowers just seem to reproduce regular colours. I'll put two red roses together and all I'll get are more red roses. But once in a while, I'll get a hybrid :) So far, I've grown orange pansies, pink cosmos, purple tulip, pink tulips and orange roses. I really want some orange cosmos and purple roses :)

Nancy - Once you edit your town and put the grass back in. Does it wear away again or is it permanent?

Thanx......
I'm doing okay, just hanging in there.

Emiel did got the question somewhere last week...
He answered that time is important to us because we almost all the time use AC during the evenings...

So now i know it's Emiel's "fault" and not mine.
I time traveled this day for the first time so i thought that i did something wrong and screwed things up.

Thanks for the great answer.

The grass still wears away, but that is fine. I need some dirt on the edges of the paths so they blend in. I think the "animal tracks" feature is a good one, the only problem is that the tracks turn so quickly into highways, then turn from highways into "Las Vegas."

Thanx......

Wow Yvet, you've got to get onto US time!
What is the time difference between the Netherlands and NJ - 6 hours? We could play on Saturday:cool1:

Ian's sitting next to me - he says he's going to make a guide with photos for you guys if you are interested. Also - FYI - you don't have to buy the Nintendo game used to get the transfer into your system. You can simply rent it once and use it to install the homebrew channel and then you never have to see Zelda again.... (unless you want to). Renting is cheaper than buying the $50 game. Of course if you know a Zelda fan, you can just borrow their disc.

We had fun with everyone today. Jan and her family are fabulous! We were also glad that several of you could come by and visit while we were out at Walt's Barn. Thanks for the notes on our Bulletin Board!

So I have to rent a ??? Is Zelda a game? Just curious, DUH doesn't like to do things out of the ordinary...but grass? I'd love for Disney to have grass!!!!

Hi Jan!

Hi Jan!

Lois we stopped by to see you yesterday but you were not there. We went over and wrote on your board but did not want to run around your town without your permission. Matt (my DS) wanted to leave you something so he dropped one of those zoid things up at your entrance! :)

It's now 5 hours time difference (you are already at summertime we will be on march 29).

Maybe we can hook up an AC date on saturday.

I did get it!!! Thanks so much (Matt!). Lisa - is there anything special on AC that Matt collects (or should I just try to mail a surprise?) :wizard:

Oh Lois, you don't have to send him anything!! He would be happy just to come visit your town!! That is all he wants to do is visit my friends towns!!!:cloud9:

I keep forgetting to ask this very very important question.....What is going to happen to our town when we go to WDW April 3rd when we are not able to play it for a week??? Matt has already been pushing my husband to allow us to pack the Wii and the game so that nothing happens. We are figuring that if by some stroke of luck we get the "perfect town" in the next few days, it will be trashed when we get back. Do you lose "perfect town" status if you don't play for a few days??

This outcome is drastically affecting our travel plans. We might just have to stay home. ;) Worse yet we are going for 10 days in July!!!:scared1:

Hi Jan!

Zelda is another famous Nintendo product - "The Legend of Zelda". The game in question to rent is "Legend of Zelda - Twilight Princess" Ian is currently working on a tutorial....

BTW - we were cuddling up in bed last night and what does my husband whisper to me..... That there is a conspiracy theory - What exactly is in the turnips that Joan is using little anime children to traffic to Nook, so the Nooklets can process the little buggers into illegal substances....

What the He*******??????? :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Turned on AC for the first time in almost a month :)

Not too bad, gotta lot of fruit to pick and must dispose of a lot of bad turnips. Where is the best place to get rid of turnips?

It was fun running around catching butterflies. Caught a common, a yellow and a tiger. Caught a honeybee too.

Anything else cool that the spring has brought us?

I have a lot of flowers to replace too. Nursing a back injury so I should play a lot tonight and might take tomorrow off to rest/play ;)

Don - put the bad turnips out in a field or around those stupid signs and when the day begins anew at 6am, you will no longer see them - self-composting!!!!!

If you put them out, come back to them in an hour and you will have ants. it is actually less than an hour, but by golly, the little buggers will swarm and then you can catch them. Lois taught us that trick...

Thanks for the tip! I'll remember that when I let more turnips go to waste.

Thanks! I'll keep an eye and see if your on later.

I still don't have wii speak, but I'll type you a nice hello ;)

Joan is creepy. I imagine her watering turnips in a basement full of gro-lights going "Hehehehehehe". Little anime kids are the mules, "buying" turnips and "selling" them to Nook for a slight markup, preventing any direct connection between him and Joan. He sells them on the black market for 1000 bells each or whatever for weeks, and then boosts the buying price once in awhile to keep the kiddies interested. The turnips get smuggled to the city in the bus, and offloaded in Resetti's tunnel (he provides security for the operation). Redd deals them out of his shop. What do you think is in all those extra bundles and stuff? Think he gets by selling only three things in one week? You know why your ex-villagers don't recognize you anymore? They moved to the city and got hooked on turnips.

It all makes sense. However, I think you're missing one player in the action. This all explains why Sahara is only interested in used carpets and wall paper. They're used to hide the turnips during shipment. I figure the mildew is used to throw off any sniffer dogs.:rotfl:

Signs that you're a little too involved in AC:
1) It's raining in your town, so you go to your window at home and check out how bad the weather really is (of course it would be bright sunshine).
2) You find a lost, crying kitten and want to call Child Welfare authorities on the mother.
3) You invite a neighbor over, and get really annoyed when they don't show up.
4) You spend time at work thinking up new catch-phrases, preferably in foreign languages.
5) The fact that I think we need a screenplay for Ian's conspiracy theory, "The Turnip Connection".
:lmao:
