Animal Crossing Issues...

The gate has to be closed for the axe to work. I was excited to try it the first day, and it wouldn't work. I found out the gate had to be closed, and then I still couldn't do it because the stupid turtle wouldn't get out of the way.

We have been given 2 silver axes, but lately she has been keeping them all. It's possible those pitfall incidents are counting against us.

oh, maybe that was it. We left the gate open in case Jan was able to come and get Katie.

I can't come and get her, you have to bring her right up to my gate! I will be on Fri night if I can, around 7.

Hey guys - I am working an earlier shift tomorrow, so I'm home by 4:30PST/7:30EST.

I'll open the gate and look for some of you. I'm very excited. We've been playing with a Mom from Newfoundland, who's husband works nights. She has a beautiful town named Wubby and is just the nicest! She reworks her town frequently and it was summer there today. We have all kinds of new fish and bugs in our museum! Come stop by and take a look!!!!

Ah man! That would still mean I'd have to stay up til 12.30am:scared1: I so wish I lived in the USA!!!

Hope you get lots of time to play, I need to dedicate a weekend to playing - doubt if DH will be happy tho :rotfl:

1. If my turnips are selling at 201 bells today, should I wait it out for a higher price?

2. Has anybody ever caught the coelacanth (sp??)? If so, is it a river or ocean fish? Is it a big or small shadow?

Just a by-the-way...after three months of owning this game, we still have all of our original animal neighbors. They bring up the subject of moving and we shamelessly beg them not to leave. My daughter's goal is to keep the same neighbors forever. If I receive the wireless router that I've requested for my birthday and we start having visitors over, is there a better chance that they might leave? Okay, I guess I really had 3 quick questions. :goodvibes

Thanks!
Gotta Get To Disney! :moped:

1. 201's a pretty good price! How much of a gambler are you? "They" say the prices peak on Thursday evenings - that being said, I'd probably take 201.

2. Nancy (YellowMickeyPonchos) caught a coelacanth - we haven't. I think it's an ocean fish.

3. I'm sure your neighbors will leave eventually, even if you beg.

let us know when you want to visit!

Hey Lois - wishful thinking. I don't have a coelecanth. A bunch of other stuff, but not that one. It is still elusive.... :headache:

Katie has to be brought to Jan's town. Go to Katie and talk - choose the option to have her follow you. Take her very slowly to the gate and request to go out. Choose Jan's gate. The game does the rest. You get a Thank You gift the next day.

Our neighbors didn't start leaving until about 3 weeks ago, when we lost our precious Alice....   give me moment to recompose myself..... Okay - better now. :rolleyes1 Now - #3 will be gone today or tomorrow.

I caught a coelecanth and we donated it. My son is still trying for one. It was a big shadow!:goodvibes

We also beg our people to stay. We have had I think 3 say they were going to go and there was one this morning that my son said wanted to go but we tell them "don't go!". That said there are a few that we many not encourage as much when/if they decide.:rolleyes1 We lost Pate our duck to time travel so we did not get a chance to try to talk him into staying. I think that is when my son made the decision not to risk time travel again. He could deal with the weeds and flowers but losing a neighbor...crushed him.:guilty:

I have lost 7 neighbours in total. But that is the side effect from time traveling half a year in one day. I was expecting it but it still hurt. I like my new neighbours though so it is ok.

I saw my beloved Tutu in the city yesterday. Of course he (she?) didn't know me but the saddest part was that he/she was no longer wearing a dis unplugged t-shirt. It was so sad...

I don't have one of these t-shirts, I want one! I will have to visit someone over the weekend to get it :) I just haven't had time to play this game at all this week. But Good news is that Adam (BoyF) is all better and is back at work

Glad to hear that!!!:)

Yay for Alice's boyfriend for being healthier.

Yay for Lynne for getting her goodie box opened on air - that makes at least 3 of us sending boxes since the holidays!

They should know by now their most loyal listeners play AC!

Come by Gusitown this weekend!!! I'll be off work half an hour earlier tonight, so I'll be home by 10pm EST. I think Ian might get on earlier.

Is the fountain 400,000 bells? Matt and I each gave 200,000 and nothing. Sorry, we have heard anywhere from 400 to 600.

Thanks!

They won't say anything to you until the next day. Any bells you donate for the rest of today will be lost, and then tomorrow Pelly will stop accepting funds and tell you they are building a fountain. Soon enough you will learn to loathe and despise Serena, the goddess of the fountain.

BTW Zoe, who is 3 1/2, just caught her first butterfly all by herself. Fish are still a little too tricky. She loves walking the people around which is nice, because we can have her do chores like water all of the wilted flowers.

Okay then it can't be 400. We donated our 200 each on Thursday night and there was no message :guilty: We did not donate anything else because we didnt want to lose it. If she is still accepting then we will donate another 100today. Do share.....who is this Serena and what will she do to my town???

Good job Zoe!!! I am water challenged. For whatever reason I can not seem to get in the right spot to water. And then other times I end up pulling up the wilted flower. I am strickly on fish duty and tree shaking. ;)

Interesting... because last week I donated only 400,000.00 bells all at once and the next day I was told, by Pelly, that my fountain was being built. Maybe some people have to pay 400,000 and some have to pay 500,000.
