Anyway, - what is the bug that flies out from a snowball? Can it be caught?
3Leafs- Dh has a cabana chair. I'll have him send it!
wdwgirl- Um, yes, you should get it! DH and I both play it, as do two of my sisters (both grown). It is so fun and addictive!

The bug that flies out of the snowball is the dung beetle. To catch it, you have to walk up to the snowball very slowly. If you see the snowball moving, you know that there is a dung beetle nearby, so get out your net. If you creep up behind the beetle, you can catch it.

Hey everyone. I posted this same message over on the Podcast AC board. We have had a busy 24 hours in our town (wishes). Thought I would share a few things and ask some questions over here as well!!! We need all the help we can get!!

This is going to be long....so please hang in there!!! First off, I hope that I am still invited to other peoples towns as we have just had so many Wii connection issues. I tried 4 times on Sunday to get my friend code and since it says it can not connect, I can not even get one. It is beginning to annoy both my DS and myself since he can not go visit his friends town.


This morning my DS finally received an apple from one of our neighbors!!! We have been begging them and have been receiving lots of shirts, but we now have apple!!

Last night I caught 3 cans and 1 boot, 4 Football Fish, handful of Sea Bass and Horse Mackerels and....drumroll.....a Coelacanth!!!!! I have it swimming around in my living room right now because I am not sure if I should just donate it or what. Suggestions please!!!

Can anyone please tell me how we can find Wendal?

Okay...and now for some confessions. I feel like I am getting a little bored with the fishing and shaking trees. What else are we missing with this game? I want to buy stuff for my house as I only have 1 chair that my DS bought and I still just have the cardboard box and desk lamp. How do all furnish your homes? Our Nooks never has anything and Gracie Grace is SO expensive!!! . My DS was able to furnish his house (and earn points....what does this mean??) with the Classic collection and it looks wonderful. He bought a lot of things at the flea market. My DS came up with the Cabin Collection for me since it is Wilderness Lodgey. We just have no idea how to go about buying anything.

So I guess we are just curious...what all do you do in your towns? I don't know what there is to do in the City. We like the flea markets or playing hide and seek or tag with the neighbors and whenever there is a tournament think it would be fun. But otherwise...not sure what else we are doing.

Well, Nook's will do upgrades, and the store will have more to offer when that happens. We have the final upgrade, with the two story department store. I think that happens over time and depending on how much has been bought. You can pay to the town fund to get another bridge, a fountain and a lighthouse or windmill. I can make money very easily in my town since I have so many non-native fruit trees. If you ever get your connection figured out, let me know You could come to my town and really rack up some bells, and shop at our Nook's! I honestly think the city is sort of a rip off too..LOL. I wasa hoping for more. It is fun to get a new hair style or different shoes now and then there. Also the emotions are fun. I have not bought from Redd's and I did buy some tiara hair from Gracie. Anyway, see if you can figure out how to travel, so you can get more fruits for your neighborhood, then the bells will come a lot easier

Is there some trick to finding the animals keys when they loose them? I fished up and down the river and couldn't find them. I felt so bad for Elmer!

I usually find them in the river after about 4 or 5 tries with fish, then the next will be a key.
On another note: CRAZY SERENA (A.K.A. FOUNTAIN WITCH), GAVE ME A SILVER SHOVEL YESTERDAY!!! I was so excited even tho I don't really think I need it..LOL!!!!!!

I found the book on Amazon before Christmas, it was a great price, so I got it. I agree, it is a must have I use it on the flee market days to determine prices to sell

For those who have Wii Fit, do you find yourself working out less now that you have the AC game?

I was doing fine up until I bought the AC game. I wish they could combine the Fit with AC.. like running around the town or chopping down the trees.. or maybe if we could ski down the slopes or maybe if we could swim in the ocean in summer time.. All these things.. we would use our muscles.

Anyway.. though I have the MUST HAVE BOOK.. I still have a question. My town already has three bridges. Once we put in our 200,000 bells.. would they still put another bridge somewhere? Does anyone have three bridges when they first started?

my update: so the coconut was washed on the shore. i planted it about a feet away from the sand.. well it didn't grow. i think i might have planted it too close to the shore.. i don't know. i'm just bummed about it. i would like to see coconut along the shore.

You should be able to get another bridge. Everyone got to vote on a location in our town, when the time came. I think there were 3 choices.
Keep trying with the coconuts. Plant one like 9 holes from the water, and see if that helps. That is what we did, and we have a bunch of trees
