Good Morning Everyone,
All the little darlings are home today...no school!!

We may take a trip to the apple orchard, but I'm not sure yet...maybe we'll just spend the day cleaning the house...yeah, they'll like that !!!

Meg & Dylan are going to school today but Matthew has to go get his stitches out at the pediatrician & then go pick up some new glasses.

Mornign all... not sure why, but sleepy here today.

Alan, congrats to Mrs. AA (especially under the circumstances). Oh and nice chariot you have there ;)

Nice one Marsha :teeth:

Gail, ramble?? Nah... I realize I am far worse most of the time :p

Missy, congrats to the team and I hope y'all have a wonderful trip :)

Cami, sorry about your server & e-mail troubles. I hope they get that fixed soon!

Steph, I vote for making them clean and you go to the apple orchard ;)

Lars, good luck to Matthew today. I hope it won't be too bad for him. You could always be like me, and do what I did the first (and last) time I had stitches... I took them out myself :p Honestly I did... but I was given a removal kit by my cousin who works at Children's Hospital here. Figured it wasn't worth the $$$ to go to a doc for that.

Good Morning all!:teeth:
Happy Friday! :Pinkbounc

I will spend my day cleaning and grocery shopping. I have my old roommate, Robin and her husband coming here this weekend and we are going out Saturday night and then to the Steeler game on Sunday. She lives about 6 hours away so I only see her once or twice a year. It should be really fun. ::yes:: :teeth:

I will be mailing my exchange package this AM! It is all ready to go!

catch you all later! Have a good day!

Anyone recognize this man on the moon?

WOW LK~That's a blast from the past!:teeth:

good to see him!

:wave2: John!!! We miss you!!!

My exchange package is ready, but won't get out until Monday. DH and I are leaving this morning to go to his best friends wedding. It is somewhere just past Cincinnati. Getting the kids off to school, then Grandma will pick them up and keep them at her house. Good news this morning..............I made our PS for Chef Mickey's!!!!!!!!!:Pinkbounc :bounce:
I have to go now, but everyone have a wonderful Friday, and I'll see you all back here tomorrow!

I had a great time at the after-season party at our owner's new home yesterday.

We had two buses drive us to his house. It took close to 2 hours to get there. That includes time spent while we were lost on the back roads! Can you imagine the look on the residents' faces when two huge tour buses came driving down their dirt and gravel lanes? We had to turn around at one point and back up, and the driver stalled the bus. I give him credit though for getting us there in one piece.

The home was absolutely beautiful. It sat high on a hill in the Laurel Mountains. When you sat on the back deck, all you saw were mountains and trees. You couldn't see ANY other houses at all.

The house was a log home, and it was huge. I lost track of all of the bedrooms and bathrooms. I think there were at least 6 bedrooms, all complete with full bathrooms.

The decorating was all wood/hunting themed. The end tables, many of the lamps and chandeliers, and the chairs all had antlers. Everything went together so well. The wall colors were all rich colors and accented everything perfectly. It's so hard to describe everything.

The bottom floor was a true game room. One room housed a custom made pool table. There was a huge walk in wine room. There were three plasma TVs on the wall, all set to different stations. (Must be a guy thing - all sports!) There were huge plasma TVs in just about every room. The downstairs also had a beautiful marble-topped bar. He had a shuffleboard table that sat up high and you moved the discs with your hand. Lots of people enjoyed playing it.

The kitchen was also grand with stainless steel everything. More beautiful granite (or marble?) countertops here.

Outside there was an inground pool with a separate jacuzzi. He also had a huge fire pit with large lava rocks that turns on with the flick of a switch. That threw out a ton of heat!

The food was excellent. We were stuffed on the appetizers which included swedish meatballs, stuffed mushrooms, and ribs, and didn't realize we were still getting a huge meal later! :o The main meal consisted of pasta, shrimp and meat shishkabobs, chicken, green beans almondine, and a broccoli dish. Later on there was cheesecake for dessert. Mmmmmm....

I had a wonderful time. That was very gracious of him to open up his home to all of us.

Oh wow... definitely a blast from the past!! Hi John :wave2:

Lorraine, enjoy your time in Cincy this weekend! I hope the wedding is a good one!

LK, that sounds like one amazing place to live! Very nice of him to do that for y'all.

John, Jody, and Emily were in WDW last week. I asked him to look up our Leave a Legacy tile and take a picture of it's location. Little did I know that even if they send you the location, it doesn't mean it's up on the wall yet. Or as John's voice mail to me said, "You led me on a wild goose chase!" :o Sorry, John!

Good morning everyone.

LK, sounds like a great party.

MP, have fun this weekend.

Gail, cool that your exchange in on the way.

Anyone who wants to watch college football tomorrow, the Maryland - Georgia Tech game is on ABC at 3:30. It is Parents Weekend at Maryland so we will be at the game. And maybe they'll even show 4 seconds of the band.

:wave2: Hi John.

Lars, I hope things go smoothly for Matt.

It is beautiful today and supposed to be a beautiful wekend as well.

And, BTW, without disabling any part of my Norton antivirus, I now can see the picture of Mickey and the Castle and the buttons at the top of the page. Tech support must have fixed something, YAY!!!:Pinkbounc

Good morning. I did the usual "can't sleep because I'm getting ready to go on vacation" thing last night. So I'm up before the alarm goes off. I'm sleepy too, E. Wonder why? Fellow travelers, have great trips.

Sounds like the party was too cool! Wish there were pictures, but you did a great job of describing it. Wow!

Good to see John. And the moon made me :teeth:

Lars, I actually like getting stitches out. Seems they always feel itchy when it's time for them to go.

Have a great weekend with your old roommate! I have three different college roommates and they are three of my closest friends. One I talk on the phone with several times a week.

Off to take my shower and get dressed. Have a good weekend. I'll miss you! :wave2:

LK, sorry your pic wasn't up yet. I'll be glad to look for you in a couple months if you still like ::yes::

Carol, sorry ABC here will be showing the OSU vs Wisconsin game @ 3:30... I doubt I'll be watching that one though
Glad that the boards are working right for you now though!!

Missy, I think my co-workers all agree that it has more to do with cold weather that came in w/o much warning than anything else here. We are all tired here it seems :p

Hmmm..Knock Alabama not until try it you have. Friendly the people are!

And here I pictured myself more as a young Obi Wan.....

Good morning....I made Sam let me sleep in a bit today. That boy has an internal alarm clock set for about 6:30. Great for school days, not so great on days off.
Wet and rainy here, so I dont know what we are going to do today. I do need to do some more exchange shopping, and I need ot make something. Hopefully I can get that done.
Have a good day....back later :)

still trying to decide if we're going to watch the footie tomorrow....scotland vs norway (for those of you who don't follow it....scotland are a wee bit rubbish and you get very high blood pressure watching their games, even when we're winning.......in the back of your mind you're just waiting on the other team scoring!). The plan is meet the lads in the pub at noon for lunch then spend the rest of the day there........don't really feel in the mood so might pass on that and go to my sisters instead.
