Got kicked out of choir practice early because we lost power. The basses of the group claimed it was God saying they were too bad to sing (as we were just about to have them go over their part by themselves) and our choir director who was late due to a parent teacher conference claimed it was God saying he wasn't meant to direct that night. Either way, we sang for him (he walked in just as the power went out) and sounded better w/o music... I sort of think it was God proving to us we are all better than we think if we can just let go and sing

Anyway, for all the non-religious, excuse that... it amused me.

Luis is now watching football (Clemson vs. VA I think) and I think I am going to catch up on some organizing stuff on my computer. Enjoy the evening all

I left work at lunch today to do a little home repair and then go to the dentist for my second of the two "deep cleanings" I required.

I'm sore.

We went to a pot luck dinner PTF meeting at the girls' school which was followed by an excellent Columbus Day program.

The younger kids sang songs and the older ones did dramatic readings on Columbus and the discovery of the New World.

Mrs. AA was elected as Vice President of the PTF, and no, she did not know she was running. Sure, what's more one thing? We would be involved with all the projects anyway.

Star, thanks for the smooch! Now that I'm a prince, I can take my carriage to the Redneck coronation

We're back from the football game. Our team won for a change! David's band sounded and looked marvelous!

Tonight we packed for fall break. We're heading out early in the morning. I'll try to get on and say one last goodbye if things go well. Otherwise, I'll see you guys sometime Monday. Don't forget to yell extra loud for all of us, Star. And we will be wearing our OU colors in Missouri that day.
