Hmmm... exchange... well, I think I am about halfway done buying for it... still need to find one other thing I think (and some other tiny things). Luis had fun shopping with me for it so far though, so if there is a strange thing or two in it, it's all his fault

Cami, how is the house coming along? I hate moving! It seems to take forever to put everything away. But I bet it's wonderful to be in your own place.

The weather is beautiful. I opted for walking around our lake today. The sun was shining and the birds were singing. I almost hated to come home. I do wish we could have some rain. It's really dry. I think we are supposed to get some rain this weekend.

I have made no more progress on my angel package. I hope to go shopping one day this week. I just have a few little things so far, but I do have some ideas bouncing around in my head. Amy has to do her shopping, too.

MP - believe it or not, we were unpacked by friday night! the last few days have just been about sorting out bills and change of address and buying bits that we need....not too bad at all, i could have went back to work on monday but decided just to take the extra days to have a break

I have to admit that I almost purchased a turkey hat for my exchange box. I stopped in a store last weekend that had a fabric hat shaped like a turkey. His legs hung down each side of your head. I thought he was too funny, but was afraid my exchangee might think I was calling him/her a turkey.

Sam and I have not started our exchange shopping either...although I do have a few things here that I might send
Which reminds me....is there anyone who does not celebrate Halloween? I wouldnt send anything ghoulish, but I have some ideas that involve more Halloween than fall.

Had a roommom meeting this morning at Krispy Kreme, LOL. Our KK is never crowded, so it is actually a nicer place to sit and talk than Starbucks or Caribou. We talked for about an hour and then I headed ot Barnes & Nobel. I was surprised with myself...the only thing I bought was iced tea from Starbucks. I had ot keep telling myself I have at least 10 books in my 'waiting to be read' pile. Either way it was nice to walk around there for an hour and just browse.

now the dryer is buzzing, guess I should go fold the clothes.

Bethany, I know there is a lot of Halloween stuff out there at the moment... actually I have found some of that for the fall as well... that's why I need to find a new store or two to shop at

Bethany, I am not a big Halloween fan. The kids always dressed up and we gave out candy but I don't decorate or anything. In fact, I am happy when something conflicts and we can skip it altogether.

Still no shopping here. I want to go to 2 different places that are in opposite directions. At least I have some ideas, that should count for something.
