Bethany, I will admit that we do not celebrate Halloween.

Now may I rant for a minute?

I love Mrs. AA but she's going to drive herself nuts!

She's a planner/organizer and a good one too, but she is just taking on too much.

We have the Rekindling the Romance conference on Saturday and Life Chain on Sunday.

She has been working very hard to promote both events for several weeks and we are actually glad to see them arriving so it will be over after this weekend.

I was looking into a quick getaway for a night next weekend since it is our anniversary. However, it is also her grandmother's birthday.

Mrs. AA and her mother want to throw a party for her grandmother, which is a great idea. However, it will be at our house and will include Mrs. AA's great aunt and uncle, their adult children and grandchildren. It will also include Mrs. AA's brother, wife and their 4 children as well.

I have been told to do nothing next week outside of the house in order to help her prepare.

Once this is out of the way, it will be time for her to plan Lela's birthday party (all supplied ordered and arrived weeks ago) and I will be working several nights towards the middle and end of month on "Judgment House" for the church.

AAAARRRRGHHH!

Okay, thanks. ;)

I always decorate for Halloween!
Honestly~I enjoy any excuse to decorate! Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, Valentine's, Easter.....yep I'm decorating for all of em::yes:: ::yes:: :teeth:

We do celebrate Halloween, although as the kids get older we seem to do less and less. I am partial to Halloween decorations that include black cats, because my Cricket (or Evil Kitty if you prefer) is all black with yellow-green eyes.

Lars, my mom keeps her slim Christmas tree up year-round. She leaves the lights on it and just changes the decorations with the seasons. It has hearts and flowers in February, Easter eggs in the spring and so on.

SB, that's almost enough to make me want to get myself one. ;) Too cute. I better not show Amy those.

Wow Alan! Sounds like you'll be busy. And I thought I had a lot on my plate.

They told all of us at the practice last night that students can bring their parents and siblings, but no one else can come to the performance. Poor Mom had been planning to come with us. I understand that seating is limited, but David isn't coming. Wonder if it would be wrong to try to get her in in his place? He is going to a college fair that they scheduled at the same time. What do you think? We don't have tickets or anything, just family invitations.

:bday: :cake: Happy Birthday Joe! :cake: :bday: :rockband:

SB: that Buzz Lightyear bear is sooooo cute! ::yes:: but I bet Shannon got the Cinderella one!

Bethany: we decorate for halloween. (and every other holiday too).

Alan: as your kids get older.....the constant running around only gets worse. Better brace yourself now! ;) ::yes:: :teeth:

I am still not feeling very well so I gave myself the day off and curled up on the couch for awhile......it was kind of nice but I felt guilty not doing things I should have been doing. At least we only have one place to run to after school and then we are home for the night. :Pinkbounc

Lou - LOL! Don't give away your exchangee though!!!;)

Alan - i think you need to get away for more than one night!

Bethany - I love Halloween - it is one of my favorite holidays to decorate!

Donna - hope you feel better. i'm not sure which costume Shannon picked out, but she is going to be Belle for Halloween, so I'm thinking it was that one.

MP - go ahead and get one for Amy!! Shannon and Brendan each have a dog instead of the bear. Brendan has a couple soccer outfits for his.

I wanna go home now.........very sleepy..........need a nap........

Hi everyone!!

Just passing through my RL has been keeping me busy lately!!

I don't decorate because we are never here, and I live in what might as well be a retirement community, so no tricker treaters :(

I do deck out the fall stuff and take G to our church's carnival.

Hey Bethany did you mention what Sam was going to be for Halloween? G's Incredible is ordered and should be here in a few days!!

phone is ringing!!

bbl

We decorate for everything at our house. :o Beginning with Halloween, we will be decorated straight through Easter!

Leah is going on a Just Ducky tour of Pittsburgh this afternoon with her Girl Scout Troop. I am meeting them afterwards for dinner at the Hard Rock Cafe. :D

That sounds like a fun evening LK!

I'll be teaching nervous 15 y/os how to drive.....................:scared1:

btw........does anyone know where I put the tequila????

I have to admit, I am not a big decorator for any holiday, but Luis is... he particularly loves Halloween. It's actually one of his favorite holidays to prepare for. As we were in Target, he was trying to convince me to buy a fog machine :p

Alan, good luck next month!!! Sounds like a very busy one for y'all.

LOL, Missy... I used to do that with a Christmas tree as well!! It became the "holiday tree" I'd even dress it for birthdays :teeth: Honestly that's s much decorating as I would normally do (myself) for the holidays... Sadly Christmas is more or less included. Oh and I would try to take your mom... especially if David can't go.

Donna, I hope you are feeling much better soon!!!

Lars, I think we need to take you out tonight or a good drink ;)

Bethany, Sam looks so cute :)

Lars, I speak from experience. DON'T yell "brake" as they drive into the driveway! Allen did and David drove right through the garage door when he stomped on the gas instead of the brake pedal.

E, Mom says she's not going to the program. She's afraid if they turned her away she'd have her feelings hurt. Such a shame when you know there will be empty seats. I may call her on my cell, if I get there and they say it would be okay for her to come.

LK, what is a "Just Ducky tour"? Sounds interesting.

Amy got two Seventeen magazines today. Guess they heard she likes to read and expect her to read one with each eye? :earseek:

We're on the move again. Here we go, off to.......

Las Vegas

Maybe Star can recoup some of what she spent in Beverly Hills....;)

I know two people around here who are particularly lucky so I know who I'm hanging with. :p

(BTW we're cool with Halloween decorations. I was actually thinking the same question myself so I hope everyone answers.)

Lou, may I suggest that you use the lucky twin coin?

Now if y'all will excuse me, I need to go get dressed for the occassion

Missy, I think your idea about calling is a good one. I would hate for her to miss it knowing there will be seats open. No matter what, I hope you enjoy it tonight :)

Nice new home, Lou... truly enjoy the change of scenery :)

Alan :rotfl:
