I got to sleep a little later today. It was lovely! Especially since I was up until about 1:00.

David called me from his road trip (water polo game) and asked me to pick up his OU hat from Mom for the game tonight. Guess we couldn't win if he didn't wear his hat, and he left it at her house last weekend.

Sasha is feeling better. She's moving around much better than yesterday morning. In fact, she was running and playing a little late last night.

That recipe sounds good. I've fixed a roast that was similar. I'll have to give that one a try! Thanks.

When is Star coming home? Anybody know? I'm hoping the hurricane isn't messing up their trip.

Hi gang!

Semi-productive morning here so far. I've actually gotten the kids to get their homework done for the weekend so we aren't cramming it all in tomorrow night.

Off to SB's house in about an hour. I'm looking forward to seeing our brother from California again. Later this afternoon we have to head back home for Leah's first football games with the dance team. Looks like a beautiful day for football! I realized I am lacking in the school spirit area. I need to buy some school t-shirts and sweatshirts so I'll look "official".

My Disney scrapbook is nearing completion. I need to buy more pages, though. I have 19 pages done so far!

Hey LK, how many siblings do you two have? Everytime you mention one it seems like it is a different one. By my count there is you and Lorraine (2), Donna (I think that was her name and is the one in the bowling pictures you posted wayback when) (1), your sister in OH (is that the same one?) (1), your brother who fell off the bike (1) and your brother from CA (1). I'm sure there were about 6 others in there somewhere.

So by my count that means there are about 12 of you?

Back home... stayed at work until almost 2 and then ran some errands before coming home; one of which was Luis' birthday present... any ideas on where I can hide a ladder?

It is absolutely gorgeous out, so while Luis is off at the game, I am going ot enjoy this sunny weather on my deck

I quit my job at the scrapbook store today. These Saturdays were killing me, and add to that an owner who could sometimes grate on my nerves. I left on good terms with an open invitation to come back when or if I want to.
I stopped at Disney and updated my availability, so hopefully they will give me some day shifts.

Sam loves getting packages, so add him to the exchange please.

LOL at all your guessing on how many siblings are in our family. There are 4 sisters and 3 brothers.

We had a beautiful day here. The sun was shining which meant everyone didn't have to be inside my house. I made hot sausages and we also had chicken, potato salad, and a layered salad along w/ many munchies. My mom made an ice cream cake for dessert. Kids got to swim and all had a good time. Tomorrow I am not doing a thing!!!!!!!!!!!!

Been kind of lazy here since I got back home... need to put some clothes in the dryer and find something for dinner. I didn't eat lunch until after I left work, and now that Luis is home, we need to find something...

David says they lost both their water polo games, but still had fun. He and DH went on to the football game.

It's halftime of the OU (oops I mean Sooners) game. After Amy and Allen parked cars, I picked her up and we went with the car parking group for pizza. It's a tradition that the ones who work get to eat, and they paid for me since Allen wasn't eating.

Amy's popping corn and then I'm back to the game. We're winning big time, but that's okay by me.

Amy's searching for a LOTR bookmark that has Frodo and the gold ring attatched. She used to have one, but she wore it out. We went to two bookstores today and they were out. Maybe on ebay?

Bethany, hope you can get more hours at Disney. I don't blame you for quitting at the scrapbook store. Life's too short! If the job doesn't fit, you should quit. Now I sound like OJ's lawyer. LOL! No way should I work in one. I'd spend everything I made, I'm sure.

Oops, gotta run. The game's back on and they need me to cheer.
