Busy week here for me.....kids have swim lessons everyday this week again.....my mom's birthday is tomorrow.....going to see Mama Mia with LK, SB, Sue and another friend of mine, Rita on Thursday.....and I have to pack because we are leaving Friday for Canada to visit my cousins for a long weekend.

We went to my BIL's lake house on Saturday. I was looking for you on your bike, Sandi, just in case you drove up! Yesterday, we went to Kennywood Park (amusement park). I am tired!

Welcome back Lars !!! I figured it was some sort of cell hell problem......glad you had a great trip ! Rockport really is a beautiful area ... thanks for posting the pics - your kids didn't waste any time wearing those souvenir tees !

I went to see Kenny Chesney in concert last night .... it was a music festival type deal where they had local bands playing for a few hours before the main acts came on ..... the highlight of the show for me was an unexpected surprise .... unfortunately one of the opening acts cancelled due to lead singer strained vocal cords (Rascal Flatts) - so in their place was Keith Urban who is headlining another show in CT tonight and Kenny called him to ask him to fill in -it was just him and his guitar and it was awesome!

I guess I should try and get some work done .... but I didn't get home 'til almost 1am from the concert and I'm slightly unmotivated !

I know I mentioned my girlfriend's brother recently, well, he passed away on Friday so I ahve been helping her when I am not working. The funeral is this morning, so I am off and running again. BUt I just wanted to pop in and say hi

That rain you had in Pittsburgh and Ohio is here now.

Lars, Welcome back! Great pics. Matt sure looks different than last summer. Longer hair and hw looks more mature. That happens with teenage boys.

MP, glad you had a good weekend too.

We ended up going to the ocean yesterday. Went to the beach at Cape Henlopen State Park then to the boardwalk in Rehoboth DE. Had pizza there for dinner. Boy, you can really tell how much sunscreen works when you see where you missed. I missed in the front of my armpits, both sides. I don't know how I will wear anything but spaghetti staps today, and that wouldn't be a pretty sight.

I think you all may remember some of the boy troubles DD was having in May. She was still talking with him and seeing him on Fridays when she came home in spite of him having another girl friend. (I thought she was wiser than this.) Well, she has a new friend at camp - Rob. And, she is going to bring him home on Thursday for overnight. Maybe this is the end of Jason.

Better go accomplish some housework.

Bethany, I'm sorry that your friend's brother has passed away.

Interesting morning here so far. Leah got a kit for her birthday to grow caterpillers into butterflies. Yesterday morning, we had one butterfly and this morning we have four! The last one is shaking its chrysalid and looks ready to emerge. I hope we can see it happen. The instructions said they only guaranteed two butterflies to hatch, but looks like we will get five out of five!
