Busy day here - got lots done around the house and in the yard. It's been beautiful so far... no sign of rain yet.

Carolyn - I'm so sorry to hear about your high school friend.

Lars - yikes! That was a scary situation, and to have it happen so close to home can't be very good either.

Cami - welcome home and thanks for the pictures! The more I see of the Flower and Garden festival, the more I want to visit at that time!

Donna, I'm glad Dan's foot injury didn't affect his poker game.

Uh, Brian, glad we didn't go double or nothing on today's Cubs/Pirates game.

Not much going on tomorrow here. We will probably go and get some goldfish for our barrel outside. The last group lasted a few years but died about two months ago.

LK - She is a cutie!! You can have some of the fish my mom has!! Her two big goldfish from her pond committed babies last fall. ALOT of them!!!!

Well the birthday party was fun. We were able to cook out and the rain really started just after we were done cooking. It has rained off and on all afternoon. I guess we were under a tornado warning at some point. (At least that is what my mom just told me.) Our friend's little girl turned 3 yesterday. There little boy will be one in a couple weeks. He was so cute today. He had some ice dream on his plate and he put his face in it to eat it. He had ice cream everywhere. When he was done his mom just went ahead and gave him his bath. I said it was a preview of what will happen at his birthday.

The pastor from church called dad. He says it isn't looking good for my friend, Gale. He needs a miracle. The Dr's are saying it is only a matter of time. All we can do is place it all in the Lord's hands.

Well I guess I need to run Mick over to my parent's house to spend the night. He couldn't reach any friends to stay here so he decided to go to his grandparents He thinks he will get out of finishing schoolwork if he goes there Little does he know. I already told my mom he can't play the Playstation until the composition he owes me is finished!!

Hi Everyone

We had a pretty relaxing day around here today
Not much going on this morning or this afternoon.........in the late afternoon we had to go buy Matthew some new shoes. He needed white ones for marching in tomorrow's parade with the high school band. Then DH & I had to pick a friend's 15 y/o DD up at the airport. Boring day but it felt good to just hang out & do nothing!

Now I'm gonna head off to bed

Productive weekend around here, we've got the front yard all done, except bark mulch. Bark yard is shaping up nicely.

SB, We had strawberries, pretzels and biscotti at the chocolate fountain. Didn't want to make it too overwhelming
The Dessert had a room of it's very own! Chocolate fountain, wedding cake and tons of homemade fancy cookies!!

I am afraid the weather that is in Pittsburgh now will be here this afternoon for the party.

Yesterday we got Andrew and arrived home at 7PM, right as my brother and familky were pulling up. Had pizza and cake and talked a while then to bed.

Now I am up and getting things together for the graduation party.

It looks gloomy out right now....I want !!

Well I just got the call that Gale passed during the night. (Maybe that is why it is gloomy out. A wonderful person left our world. Although I'm sure he would have ordered sunshine all around to celebrate going home to the Lord ) His family has donated his organs to help other people. So although we lost him , he is bringing joy to many strangers that we will never know. Somewhere someone is getting a new chance at life.

Well I am going to go busy myself with something and think happy thoughts. I'm trying to pull things out we don't use/need for a garage sale. I've decided we have way toooo much stuff! And I'm tired of looking at it and cleaning it! I think the word for today will be "DECLUTTER".

Of course I wont turn down an offer to go out and eat today.
I guess I need to go drop a few hints.

Good morning all! Terrible storms came through last night and I finally just got back online (had power but cable was shakey and not allowing me to stay online much).

Sandi, those wedding photos are beautiful!!!! BB made for a beautiful bride!!!
The movie that I saw is about how global warming changed the climate of the world. It was quite interesting and very funny.

Carolyn, I am so very very sorry that Gale died Good luck with decluttering though.

I've crossed my fingers and toes for your weather, Carol. Hope it doesn't rain on your party.

Allen shared his "allergies" with me. I've got a scratchy throat and stopped up nose. Grrr. At least I don't feel too bad.

We have to get the kids packed to go on their trip to Watonga. They'll be staying there from Tuesday afternoon until Friday afternoon to do vacation Bible school with the native Americans. Should be fun.

We are getting ready to do some massive cleanup around the house today. I'm wanting to shampoo the carpets this week while the kids are gone, so it's a good time to make a clean sweep.
