I'm headed for the Poconos tomorrow morning, coming back on Monday night .... hoping for good weather but will have good times w/ family whatever the weather.....my sister and brother-in-law, my nephew and his girlfriend, my parents and my grandmother will all be there....one of my uncles who lives in PA will be coming to see us on Sunday so I'm looking forward to it !

For some stupid reason I am starting to get a wee bit panicky... I was just talking particulars of the trip and it hit me... very stupid I know and I have no idea why I am getting *this* nervous. It's not like I haven't spent time with Nancy, Beth or Dave... I guess I am more nervous about that flight than I ever thought I would be. I don't mind flying... I do it often enough, but I don't like it much either and I have to do more than double what I usually tolerate... I pray that I can sleep most of that flight...

Sandy, enjoy your trip. I've never been there either. I understand it's beautiful.

Star, the county fairgrounds are near the intersection of Robinson and Porter. That's also where they have the farmer's market in the summer.

David and I made a trip to the bank, to Lowe's to get the part to fix our microwave (I hope), to Mom's to help her attatch a file to an email , and to pick up the key to the "farm" where our Scouts are camping tonight.

E, how about taking a walkman and a Clay or other favorite CD? Music always helps me relax.

Survived the first go round of errands, my 16 yr old doing the driving




It is now pouring here, so we are waiting a little while before we go out again, she can't wait.

In the meantime the little and the big are shall we say disagreeing on everything Lou's lucky to be at work.

In addition to the arguing, I have the dog pacing because of the thunder.

At least Donna and Lk have alcohol and reindeer antlers to amuse them.........................

Weather was great (had a brief rain shower that lasted about 15 minutes)

My uncle got the report from his tests. He has a spot on one lung. They also said it has spread to his liver. I'm trying to think positive until he talks to the doctor next week, but I know enough to know it doesn't sound good.

Once upon a time there were who decided to go camping. The first one convinced the second one that this would be a fun time living in a barn for a few days. The third one who had been there from earlier in the week had a more palacial setting on the other side of the camp so they only saw her for a campfire the first night.

So anyway.....they decided to call me to have me take notes
