I keep checking for my room number, but nothing yet, but then again we are still 58 days away from the cruise.

Got DD8 her formal dress (costco) yesterday. Now just need to get something for DH. (he lost a lot of weight in the past year, so nothing he wore last year fits).

I finally got my DH some new shorts and shirts. . . . So he would not feel left out since we have gotten so much new. But he is not the best at dressing up, so I am not real sure what he will get in that respect. But my Mom has informed him he will dress up.

As of yet we have not put room numbers on the list. If anyone else knows their room number they can give it to me now or whenever they get it.

I haven't really participated much in this thread, been busy! Finished nursing school, took state boards, looked for a job, found a job(!) oriented at the new job, and managed to squeeze in a bit of a life in the meantime. But since the time is drawing near, I'm starting to get all my ducks in a row, starting with this thread and door magnets!

Speaking of door magnets, who did the awesome fireworks in people's signatures??

I guess I am the one that pulled together the our fireworks logo for our cruise. I got the Design from one of the DISigners on the creativity boards... I think it was Mollipie (Yikes... I better go learn her name, so I can give her credit) and then I played with Photoshop and put in the name.

So glad to hear from you again. Glad you finished, passed, found and also had time for some life in there also. We are all busy with FE's and magnets among other things. We are still finding new clothes that we just have to have!!!

I have you on the FE list and your room is noted. Your cousin who is coming with your group, how old is she?

Kathy -my DH is not good at dressing up either. He wants to skip formal night, but since it is NYE. I really want us to experience it. We skipped our last cruise and had dinner at Palo's.

DH will probably get a dark suit, but he really wants a light one. He feels he does better in kakhi sports coat.

We are room 6080. We will be casual wear - no formal for my DH. I hope to get a day of shopping in Florida before the cruise. After losing 20 lbs. my summer clothes are not fitting.

That trip was our introduction to cruising. DH loved the verandah and has told me he always wants a room with a verandah when we cruise. It is a little more money, but we all enjoyed sitting there watching the ocean go by.
I have also been told if you feel a little sick, just focus on the horizon and that helps. It wasn't an issue with any of us.
Another thing my husband liked about that room was that it was directly above a stabilizer. He liked looking down into the water and seeing that. But he is an aircraft mechanic and little things like that mean something to him. (Gotta love him anyway!!)

Ariel will be exactly one month shy of her 19th birthday on the 1st day of the trip (so 18!) I'm getting excited

We are all very very excited and counting the days til we are Florida bound. In our family it will be our second cruise for DH, DM and myself, but my DD will be a first time cruiser and she is oh so excited.

For FE: We are in a GTY room and still don't have a room #. I will post it as soon as it is given to us!!

I hope that we are able to see the Dream, I've seen video of the sail out and it looks amazing!!!

Welcome Mike and Rachel! Glad you can join us. I just checked last night and they no longer have the cat 12's. I wonder if that means that they are starting to fill the ship a little more or if they just pull them when they start offering the FL res. rates. I've been watching the Dream float out too and I can't wait till Aug to take a little trip on her. Anybody book their excursions yet? On St. Maarten we're doing an Island tour that includes Maho beach where the planes land, on St. Thomas we're going over to St. John for some snorkeling, and at CC we're doing the Castaway Island Cruise that takes you all around the island by boat.

We were the last ones out of the water, I thought we were going to be "politely asked to leave" but no one ever said anything. I wonder how much longer we could have stayed in?

We haven't booked any excursions. We decided we would make it to the Maho beach on our own in St. Marteen and to the Magens bay on our own as well in St Thomas. Though I did book a couple of spa appointments for myself throughout the trip. Good thing we booked when we did now that all the CAT 12s gone. That is what we booked.

As for letting you know about us, all I can say is that Mike and I have been engaged since 2008, got engaged infront of Cinderella's castle in WDW. Love vinylmation. From Toronto. This will be our second cruise. We took one earlier this year and loved it. We decided on this one with everything that happened in the year, figured we needed a break. I don't handle stress too well. I think that sums us up till we all meet on board.

Can't wait till I meet you all.

I was looking at the date for gty cabin assignments for last yrs cruise and we got the upgrade call about 50 days out. I was just looking at this years gty assignments and they began getting assignments for the 12/18 sailing at the beginning of this week.
So, maybe that means we will get out cabin #'s within the next couple of weeks? I know there is no formula on all of the upgrades, etc.... but... I hope we get offered upgrades! Last yr. we got a paid upgrade from a 12 to cat 9!
How many of you are gty cat 12?
