Generally speaking, what are your experiences with using this service? Do you find the buses over crowded (i.e., meaning is their a likelihood of having to stand?)

We are going at the end of November. I have a 4 year old that will not want to walk back to a resort at the end of the day and I'm sure I won't want to be carrying her either. So, I was thinking the walk back to the bus area would be the shorted :rotfl2: and we no longer have a stroller.

It looks like the Anaheim Hilton is the only hotel served on its route...don't know if that's a good thing, but I was thinking if I stayed somewhere and needed to use ART, I wouldn't want it to be one that stopped at lots of place.

We just came back and used it quite a bit - it can be hit or miss to be honest. If yours is the only hotel on the route then it wouldn't be very crowded. I don't think I ever saw anybody get on/off at the Garden Walk stop.

It definitely gets crowded when the Park closes, you might find that it would be faster to put your son on your shoulders and walk as it will be a 20 minute wait for the next shuttle. Sometimes they run a bus that combines several routes, for example a bus for route 4+5, and one time we had a bus that was 4+5+6... that got crowded. I would take note of the hotels across from yours and next to it - they might not be on the same route as your hotel so you could grab that ART instead. For example, our hotel was on Route 6 but right next door was the Portofino which was on Route 3. Just another option if your shuttle is late.

While the Hilton is the only stop on the route, people have learned the trick of watching ALL the stops for the quickest bus. While Route 4 goes right to the hotel, route 5 stops across the street at the Marriot, route 6 stops across at the Clarion and route 1 stops at Harbor and Convention Way. If you are at the Hilton and you see the bus come to the other hotels, just hurry over. If you are in the tram area to go back, just pick the first bus there.

At the Residence Inn, we have 3 buses to choose from coming back. The girls simply choose the first available bus.

We found it crowded when we used it so we stopped using it. Now we drive and park, but we have a PAP so we get free parking.

we used it to get from castle Inn to knotts Berry on a Sunday four weeks ago, looked at the timetable the night before, got to Knotts without an issue, we were the only family on the bus. the timetable said there would be a bus back at 6pm and the next bus wouldn't be till 8, there wasn't a bus at six we waited an hour, with a couple of other families, decided that if we had to wait another hour we may as well have dinner at Mrs Knotts (so glad we did!) we were a little pushed for time and had to get our dessert 'to go' so that we would make the 8 o' clock bus which again didn't arrive until after 9. we were hoping to get back to DL in time for the Fireworks but missed it, thankfully we had the rest of the week at Disney, but it was disappointing that the timetable on the websight made us wait nearly 2 hours for a bus.
