Even more drama. :sad2:

Any moment now her fans will be begging her not to leave the Dis. And she'll eat it up with a spoon.

Roll eyes...Sorry, I'm not a teenager, but your post still made me roll my eyes. All I hear is blah, blah, blah. Did it really bother you that much that it was worth such a drama filled post?
And did you really feel the need to write such a nasty, obnoxious reply?

Hugs that your life is so bad!
You have certainly made me appreciate my life and not take it for granted. Thank you.

It sounds pretty normal to me. Does that mean my life is bad? :confused3

Nice letter, OP. I just might make my teenager read it.

Liberty - don't think your life is bad. But the OP listed a lot of things that seemed like she could do something about.

Don't have enough money? Part time job, budget, cut corners where you can until you get on your feet

Parent problems? Visit a shrink, talk to a social worker about options, be proactive on searching for a place to care for demented parent

Hate your job? Quit, find a new one, go back to school, start your own business, etc.

Seemed like maybe she needs some professional help - first it was blocking traffic instead of pulling over when she saw an accident, next it is teenagers who are out to get her with their eyeballs. Wallowing in self pity may be fun, but I am concerned about her mental health.

I'm not sure if I just read things differently than others, but I thought the post was completely normal. I was gonna have my son read it just to let him see how parents sometimes feel. I think everyone feels that way sometimes! Goodness, I know I have!

Actually, thanks for posting it.... :goodvibes

Wow, I didn't realize that hunting season on the DIS is in full swing already. :sad2:

Heck, when I first read her letter I thought she was talking to her OWN kids...god knows I'd like to tell the same things to my kids somedays and yep, my kids roll their eyes at me, just not to my face! :teeth:

Everyone has a bad day, or week, or month once in a while. Hopefully it will be :sunny: and things will get better soon.

Sorry, but of all the weirdo things that this thread brought out, :confused3 , I guess I'm sorry I brought up the whole thing and feel a little silly, but you, dear, are the one that has put me over the edge and made me want to take a little break from this board, so congratulations, you win.

Apparently no one can have any difference of opinion or criticism of anything to do with parents or you go ballistic. Grow up.

I really don't know what your problem is, and frankly don't care.

Perfect!!!!!! :thumbsup2

"Do unto people as you would have them do unto you" It's the 'Golden Rule' for a reason, folks!!!!

Some of the posts on this thread are unbelievably immature and NASTY!!!!! Why on earth did you bother posting here at all??!! :confused3 The OP really didn't say anything bad enough to warrant these ridiculous comments!!! It's 'jerks' like these that make a whole lot of us roll our eyes and shake our heads while on the DIS!!!!!! :stir:

Seems to me that the OP is NOT the one who has issues!!!!!!

By the way....this is the vey FIRST time I have ever actually 'ranted' at a fellow DISer!!! Just couldn't take this one any longer!!!!!!! :furious:

Oh, and..go ahead....flame away...I can handle it!!!!! popcorn::

Yawn.

Oh, as for the Golden Rule and name-calling ...
Let me say to you the same thing I said to the OP that "drove her off the edge," Practice what you preach.

Man, just incredible...
OP has a bad day, and now she needs mental help!!!! :rotfl2:

Yep, hunting season is in full swing.
5 alarm 'flame' going now.

I thought this thread would be dead by now.
Where is that 'beatin' a dead horse' icon.

I just now got around to reading this topic. Wow!

That's kind of a dramatic tirade in response to a simple eyeroll. I had to laugh! I think you took the eyeroll a little too personally!

It looks like the kind of thing that belongs on a blog, not a message board.

Oh man! You are so right! I made a huge mistake and I regret thinking "out loud at the keyboard"!

Seriously, I kept trying to say that I was feeling stupid for the whole thing, and no one was listening, and now I'm accused of YAGEing because I don't want to stay around and fight with a creepy weird lady stalking lady that frankly scares me a little.

I'm not mad, or YAGEing, just a little freaked out by some of the responses. I mean, you all keep talking if you want, LOL, I don't really have to do I???

:rotfl2:

You're too much...really. If the four little words "practice what you preach" has got you fearing for you safety....

Ooh, scary, I'm going to follow you around saying those 4 little words. :rotfl:

Honestly though, why don't you just have this thread locked so you can go on with your life?

Yeah, you're scary. And weird.

You're entitled to your opinion, as we all are. But really, if you are that frightened by mine you should lock this thread.

Oh, and its called the ignore button -try it.

I see the OP is back to get in some more name calling.

Yes, she is so freaked out by this thread she keeps coming back to hurl insults rather then having it locked and putting people on ignore.

Reading the first post, I also thought it was directed to her own kids (who don't appreciate her hard work, worries, sacrifices, financial support, etc.)
and because she was having a rough day she projected onto the teens working at Subway.
Hope things improve for you!
