No an add on can be at any DVC resort. For example: we have a 230 point contract and a 150 add on both at OKW, but we also have a 69 point add on at AKV.

An add-on is when additional points are added to your original contract. The minimum add-on is 25 points, but the purchase may be any number of points (26,27, 43, 89, 117, etc). For Disney financing the minimum is 50 points.
The add-on will have the same Use Year as your master contract, but can be at any resort.
Even a resale purchase could be added to an existing contract provided the Use Year is the same and the deed is titled exactly the same as the original contract.
Buyers thru DVC will need to purchase the 160 point minimum (DVC has offered a 100 point minimum for AKV purchase), but resale buyers have no such minimum and could start with as few as 25 points via resale purchase and later add-on thru DVC directly.
When you add on from a different resort from your home resort...we just bought 180 pts. AKV and say we bought 25 or so at VWL does this give you the right to book at 11 months at VWL and can you use more than just the 25 points you bought at VWL to book with??

Unfortunately, no in your example you can't use all 205 points at VWL at 11 months. In your example, at 11 months, you can use 180 points at AKV or 25 points at VWL. But at 7 months, all the points are combined within your contract, so you can use 205 points at any resort.
