There are some companies that "host" American shipping addresses for Canadians. My parents use I think its UPS shipping service in Buffalo or whatever, they pay a certain amount for some type of P.O Box, if there is something that only ships to the US they have it sent there and from there UPS will either ship the parcel on to them, or they can go pick it up (for them its only about a 20 minute drive to cross the border).

If your cousins are in Ottawa maybe there is somewhere you can ship it to one of those New York border towns closer to Ottawa and they can go pick it up. Depends how badly they want their See's lol

Crisis resolved. My cousin e-mailed See's and they investigated. The parcel delivery service they use had a glitch in their computer system that would not accept the shipments to Canada. Glitch fixed, Christmas is saved, the See's candies are on the way.

Nunavut, I would think Winnipeg (winter peg ) after that.
It gets pretty frosty come January and February here with the windshield, but we become used to it.

umm. No. We have some kind of box, a fire stick. We get too many channels already. We are not aliens on Mars lol ..

The only thing I like to looks at when in the US is what different shows are Netflix there are as we don’t always get the same ones.

I think that between extensive cable availability and streaming services/channels.. we pretty much see what you are seeing in the US.

HBO Max. I’ve read little bits here and there about friends watching current releases on that for free. I’d like to do that. There’s a couple others too I feel are American only, but we aren’t missing much. Oh Hulu is another I think. No Hulu here.

Iqualit, Nunavut or maybe Yellowknife NWT.. but there are also places in the northern Prairie provinces that see some pretty frigid temperatures with crazy windchill factors too.

You Canadians are lucky when it comes to your National Men’s Soccer team. You can watch your national team play on TV for both the home and away WCQ matches. In the USA we have to pay extra for the away USA games.

Not “officially” - but if you have access to a VPN .. you can subscribe and watch hulu (and HBO Max)

I could be wrong but I think they were referring to movies released on HBO Max simultaneously with theaters. Warner Bros for instances has their entire 2021 film releases with this model so movies are released on HBO Max and theaters the same day. The movie stays on HBO Max for 30 days before reverting to only theatrical release (and then eventually other streaming,dvd/blu-ray releases).

We have HBO Max included in our cable package and could have watched Dune for free but opted for the movie theater (I may actually try to rewatch that before it leaves HBO Max). On the other hand we watched Suicide Squad on HBO Max for free (thank goodness we did because the 2021 version was awful, one of the worst movies I've ever seen).
