OK 43 year old woman chiming in here about Lady GaGa-

First don't judge based on that- how many performers these days sound awesome live- when they aren't lip syncing like they all do now? She was not.

Her CD is unbelievable- she is a mix of talent comparable to Madonna and Gwen Stefani.Actually her real name I believe is Joanne Stefani.

She is coming to Six Flags here in May and we are going- DDs 17 and 14 love her!

My DH loves her music too.We were also diappointed in that performance.She was in Boston this past weekend and my DD17 friends went and she was great.

My beef was not her voice. She has a lovely voice...particularly the beginning of the performance where she was at the piano.

Her style is what turns me off. The bizarre makeup, outfit...the actual performance. It was all a bit out there.

But hey, there's someone for everyone.

I think everybody looks tall next to Ryan. I don't know how tall he is, but a lot of the girls even tower over him!

Does anyone know if the contestants get paid anything at all? How do they support their families when they are spending months away from their real jobs? I noticed Kris' wife is in the audience every week too. I wonder if she works?? <----always wanted to use that smilie!

I completely disagree.

Madonna's main "talent" is being persistent and keeping herself in the spotlight. I think musical talent has nothing to do with it. Her voice is *horrible*.
