Well, I say Adam screeches to the detriment of his performance and I'm able to see his kidneys when he throws his tongue out ala Gene Simmons. His "come hither" look at the end just makes me laugh because it's soooooooo affected. I'm just amazed that he didn't lift up the edge of his shirt as well and throw in an Elvis lip curl for good measure.

He's like a dessert that doesn't know when to stop. Cake with buttercream frosting and ice cream on top, plus fudge sauce and whipped cream and caramel, nuts, cherries and sprinkles and chocolate chips and hunks of Reese's and Snickers and Mars Bars and Oreos and white chocolate chunks....
and that's just for starters! Too MUCH!

The few performances when he's stripped it down as well as resisted the urge to screech, I've enjoyed him so much more. But seriously, just ridding himself of the
SCREEEEEEEEECHING would be a 100% improvement.
The judges act as if they've never seen anything like Adam and while they may never seen anything like him on the Idol Final 12, there are many other entertainers just like him out there. It's AI's fault if they've never made through on AI before, because I assure you, they have auditioned. Adam is not the first "Adam" to come along. For whatever reason, AI was ready for him this year. But there have been Adams for a very long time.
They do not call out Adam when he hits a bad note and he does hit them. They are, IMHO, too harsh on Chris/Kris, whom I believe has a legitimate chance at the finals. He is every bit as innovative as Adam (just in a different way) but he doesn't get credit for it. As for Matt, they go back and forth on him and half the time I don't think they are consistent. Sometimes they are unduly harsh. As for Allison, I'm ready for her to go, especially after tonight. I'm tired of her poor enunciation, of every song sounding like Rough Rocker Chick, even when it's not meant to. I found tonight's rendition to be jarring. She can blow out a note like nobody's business when it's a power note that is a little higher, but she can barely get the lower notes out without virtually speaking them. Every. Single. Word. Stands. Alone. And. Does. Not. Flow. Into. The Next. She's great at what she does, but what she does is very limited. Danny's voice doesn't make my ears bleed like Adam's, so he has an advantage there. But Danny is not as creative as Chris/Kris. No matter what happens to him, he'll make a fortune in Christian music.
Overall, I think Adam will win because of the nonstop pimping. But as the contest goes on, I think Chris/Kris is the more appealing because he sounds better, doesn't hurt my ears and is just as innovative in his own way. I don't think he will win, though, especially with some of the judges whinging about his performance when his performance was perfectly fine and some weeks, the best of the night.
