I hated his version of that song. He started out good, I thought I might actually enjoy it...but no, he had to go all over the top again. Why can't he just sing like he did for Tracks of My Tears? Maybe then I would see what others do.

Maybe because while he performed that song amazingly, it was a bit boring. He doesn't exactly seem to be a boring guy...

Other people that aren't huge Adam fans have said things like this and I'm just wondering if you like singers like Mariah Carey that do the big, high "diva" notes at the end of a song? To me, it is similar, just different because Adam is a guy and normally guys can't sing like that. But, if you don't like a female singing like that, it just must not be your thing.

No I don't, Mariah drives me crazy. I readily admit it is not my thing. Like I said all my friends thought I was strange because I didn't like the same music as them.

I love this genre of music and liked all the performances. Matt the least and Adam just blows me away every week. He is such a polished performer.

See, I didn't find it boring at all...one again it just shows that musical tastes are all over the board here.

I can't stand Mariah Carey either, but I love Adam. I like a vocal range, but I hate runs just for the sake of showing off all your octaves ala Mariah, Whitney, and Celine.

LOL ...not a musical I was thinking of!! Never heard of Oh Kay! I don't knoww hat I was thinking of now.

I love the song selection for tonight. I would buy a CD of these remaining 5 if they did a "rat pack" genre.

I thought tonight was probably the most boring night yet. I hate the standards so every song bored me more and more. I knew Adam would sing "Feeling Good" though, I love the Muse version! I like their version better than Adam's, but he was good! I thought Danny was once again hideous. I just don't get him anymore and I loved him in the beginning. My order tonight would probably be... Adam, Allison, Kris, Danny, Matt, although again, they all bored me. Rock week should be a lot better next week!
