I think the big problem this season is we're not seeing all the talent, we're not seeing the standout acts that are really good. Ben wasn't shown and to me he is good.

It seems like they are holding back the really good ones. Or they just have a bumper crop of crud.

Considering the guy was 62 years old that sang it ..... I was wonder why they even let him sing when I first saw him.

Overall there is just no one that stands out in a good way. I can't believe they put the blonde BFF through, the small town bridge jumper, or skiiboski. I found all of them irritating.

They always let some of them through. Makes for good tv somehow.

They did show her last night. If I remember correctly, Simon was playing his "I wouldn't put you through" stuff when the girls liked her. (or maybe that was someone else. )

My favorite usually ends up being someone that I can't remember from the auditions - except Adam. So, I'm hopeful.

I really like it, though Courtney Cox's character is a little too neurotic at times.

I also have had the Pants on the Ground song stuck in my head most of the day.

I watched 3 episodes last night. I was really far behind. I've got two more to go. It is really starting to grow on me.

He wasn't actually being a nice guy himself. He was being a jerk about having had to wait. Obviously someone hasn't taught him that patience is a virtue. And patience come to those who wait.....

I didn't like him either. He was a jerkwad.

I totally agree with you Darth... He was a jerk... From the start, you could tell that he was totally not going to enjoy himself at all... I could understand if he was the top pick for this season and he was an amazing singer having him wait and be upset, but he sucked really bad... If he didn't want to wait, he should have left and gone back home... No one was forcing him to stay... And, it's not like this is the first season and he didn't know what to expect showing up at the auditions... Look at the way he answered Simon's questions... Simon jumped all over him too, Kara was just a little more straight about it... Simon was ready to send him packing before he even tried to sing... He ain't got nothing coming besides a long walk home IMO...

One thing we have to remember is that this is TV, so Kara might have been a little "too mean" for the ratings... I am sure some things are beefed up to build the audience... I rather liked it myself though... All you could do was laugh...

Kara may be practicing to take Simon's place as the "mean" judge next season. Can't imagine who will take his place. It won't be the same.

It's not all came out I only have 7 out of the top contestants. I'm waiting for the entire full list hopefully in a few more hours.

that's my problem with Kara. she's always so rude and immature with the contestants. like if one of them gets angry with her, she starts yelling right back at them(or she gets jealous and tries to out-sing them). you don't see Randy or Simon doing that, and Paula never did that. they just ignored the contestant and had security lead him out. i really hate that she's still on the show. and i already miss Paula
