Thank goodness someone else was confused! I missed the first few minutes of the show and had to log on to find out what the heck is going on with the judging situation!

Seriously! It's not like the song is assigned to them. They choose what to sing so wouldn't their choice naturally be putting their best foot forward? You're not going to come up with something on the fly and change the judges minds.

she wasnt bad....kinda versatile....she actually reminded me of a female Elliott from last year....I couldnt stand him but she was ok....she did good with the opera....I think she will be like Elliott you eithr love her voice or cant stand it

you know, i didn't really like him either, when he was on the show.

and then i went to the Idol concert and he did a duet with Chris to Nickelback's "Savin' Me" and he absoutly blew me away. he sounded AMAZING. totally outshined Chris.

I think people especially if they are not confident in there abilities will pick a song they know and are comfortable with not necessarily what sounds best with there voice....but people who are sure of there voice will sing something we have never heard of....JMHO
