Now as for the conspiracy theory of Brandon winning it all-- look at the disclaimer at the end of the show sometime. Of course at the end of each AI episode, they track that at double speed because we don't want to see it.

DVR it and freeze it. There was language there saying the producers decision was binding. Of course that could mean that the producers decide who to show/not show in the actual episode, or it could mean the final decision is made by the producers. The language is ambigious.

Sorry Disagree...Rubeun is the best singer to win this competition hands down....He had that wow voice....was he a main stream artist no....was he a prototype R&B artist no....I would also hate to think this is turning into something racial by saying its time for a AA male to win....let the best singer win regardless of race...Someone who is getting alot if claim is the asian guy he has a great voice and could do very well but... will he relate to the everyday AI audience....

Chris reminds me a lot of Elliott, sang the same audition song (Donny Hathaway), wore the same type of outfit Elliott did during Hollywood week, and is from VA.

BTW his album comes out on March 20th.

Sundance didn't do that well during Hollywood week, but imho he had one of the best auditions I've ever seen. None of the women really have impressed me at all.

That will be your loss. IMHO Elliott ranks right there with Ruben as having the best and most refreshing voice Idol has ever had.

Sorry but its not personal....I am kinda the same way about Fantasia...neither were talented singers in my opinion...Maybe a Elliott has had a decent makeover but that will not change his voice....and there is no difference in my stating my dislike for his voice than people stating there dislike for Carrie, now boring she was, and too country etc etc and this season Antonella already....we each have our favorites and ones we just dont like...I dislike Elliott not him but his voice....its not what I like and i think he went too far in AI and was waaayyyy over rated....and Fantasia deserved being and AI winner as much as deserve to be a chip and dale dancer....you have your opinion I have mine...fair enough

I think Dan only likes certain singers (Country style women)

If you only like or listen on one certain genre of music, all will sound bad to you. If you only listen to hard rock--Frank Sinatra will sound like poo! Elliott has a soulful voice, not oversynthesized or studio produced. Yes, he is a different style person than your average pop star. (looks not included)

The context and style of Dan's posting is hard to read... Is he comparing Fantasia to a pole dancer? Or is Chip and Dale there for a reason? I don't truly understand what he is attempting to say. The verb tense and context are so off I don't understand his meaning. I am not a fan of Fantasia (I feel that season was the worst!) but I don't even attempt to understand his comparison.

Carrie is underwhelming--I totally agree. She's boring and sings the same style, and her folksy atitude made her Heart look laughable in one episode.

Yes, we will all have differences--but one posters don't need to tear down choices or take it personally when someone else says something that they disagree with. Someone posted that Sanjaya had overlarge teeth--did it bother me? NO! I never noticed it before.

When you say Elliott and Fantasia don't have good voices, regardless of if you like them or not, you lose a lot of credibility. Fantasia was not my cup of tea, but she has an awesome voice.

Elliott's voice is undeniable and I enjoy his style because he harkens to 1970s soul and isn't overly generic like the trite female country singers or people who are just there because of their looks.

I don't think he stinks - but I don't think he's fantastic either.

He sang the same type of song week after week - anybody else would have been called out on that - but not him. IMO he was a producer favorite and that's why they didn't berate him for not mixing it up.

Elliot looks great! I can't help but wonder if he had a little more than a makeover...maybe a little work done? Though I can't pinpoint anything (he's looking down) the change is just so dramatic. Maybe he had his teeth fixed and it changed the shape of his jaw? Whatever he did, it sure paid off!
