Don't blame TiVo: The show ran long, and Fox gave no notice of that.

That's one of the reasons why TiVo added the extend live program feature -- when you set up American Idol and similar programs (if properly identified by the network as "live"), TiVo will ask you, specifically, whether you want to add a cushion to the end of your recording.

You are right bicker. I love my Tivo...I'm sorry I ever doubted it! Stupid Fox network...

Me either. When I saw her start to get emotional my first thought was she probably looked at her parents and got a bit overwhelmed with emotion. Between the words having meaning (after all they have been told repeatedly to "feel" the words) and just relief that the night is over and what it could mean for her if she wins..heck I'm almost 50 and it would reduce me to tears.

Jordin has been on the singing circuit for a while, I'm not surprised that she may have met Randy Jackson.

Yes, he was. I was wondering if it was a tape though because after he performed Blake & Jordin hugged each other. They happened to be in the same outfits that they were in at the beginning of last nights' show when they did the coin flip to see who would sing first.

I thought they did the coin flip at the end of last week's episode after Melinda was voted off.

I bet since she was a longtime viewer (she said the first thing she thought of was AI when she turned 16), she'd been watching the judges & had met them in a fan sort of way back when she was 14, I'm sure they would never have remembered her...

Last night it showed her auditioning with braces on. Did she have them this year when she auditioned or was that from last year maybe?

I misunderstood her when she said that she THOUGHT about AI on her 16th birthday. I thought she said that she was going to audition on her birthday.
