LOL... I should be so lucky on the LOTTERY!!!

The winner? A toss up. The hometown crowd was a clue this and last year. Look at the support Jordin and Blake received compared to Melinda.... they just attract younger, LOUDER, more passionate people! Melinda is a classic, she will be around FOREVER, another Gladys Knight. Jordin and Blake represent today, and today's kids KNOW how to blow up a phone!!!

I believe that Jordin deserves it more but I love my Blake, too. We will see....

I honestly don't know if we will watch the show next week. The finale, yes, because Melinda will be there, but the performances, no. I don't think there is anything extraordinarily special about either of them. In a way, I think it's that the two moving on were younger and therefore pulled in the vote of the young and those who try to be young. Melinda, although she was superb, couldn't appeal to the tweeny bopper girls who have ridiculous crushes on the likes of Blake Lewis, Justin Timberlake..etc. Still, she arguably had the most talent, making this extremely dissapointing.

I don't think I will watch the finals. I think I will vomit if I hear any more of Blake's beatboxing.

The judges supposedly don't know the results until they are announced, but I think they knew tonight. That would be why Simon was in a more crappy mood than usual. Melinda was "his" girl. Mine too. She & Blake were my pick for top two.

In retrospect, I think Melinda going is the right thing. Like someone else stated, while I do believe she was the best "singer", she unfortunately didn't have the look. I think there's a reason why she's only been a back up singer. I do believe, however, that she will do just fine in her career.

I can see either Blake OR Jordin winning, really. I think Blake is adorable and I really like his style. I also think Jordin is a cutie, too.

Did anyone else find Ryan Seacrest particularly annoying tonight? I mean he's ALWAYS annoying, but when he was trying to get Blake's dad to sit down, I found myself cringe. What a freakin' dork!

I'm in shock as I think most of the audience was. Even Blake and Jordin looked surprised. I like all three of them, but Melinda had the best voice.

As I keep thinking about this, I wonder how much longevity Jordin's and Blake's careers could have. What are your opinions? Will they be around forever or not. Honestly, I don't see them as big stars once the show is over and forgotten.

I'm soooooo mad I don't know what to do . I'm done with Ameican Idol. I hope Melinda has a great music career. She is truly a remarkable singer!

It's a travesty! Melinda was far and away the best and most consistent singer and performer. Blake doesn't come close.

I am thrilled about tonights results... I have loved both of them from the start, they are the only ones that I have voted for.

I think Blake reminds me of a young Phil Collins and Jordin is amazing.

I agree with everyone who says that Melinda is a great singer, she is but she isn't as entertaining to me than the others.
