I may be in the minority of the group, but I do like Gedeon. I don't care what he looks like, and I really don't want to listen to him talk....but he can sing. I think what some may percieve as cocky or arrogant may simply be nerves.

I also like Bucky and Chris. Ace just gives me the creeps. Now some guys can carry off the falcetto thing, but I didn't think that ACe did. Between the beanie and the falcetto voice, I was distracted.

I enjoyed Taylor, and thought that he did a great job. He did look as though someone plugged him into an electrical socket though.

Will and Kevin are in over their heads IMHO. Maybe they needed a few more years.

And Elliot. If he has some more time, I think he will really develop. I think that he can sing, and I think that he may be able to move out of his comfort zone a little easier that some of the others.

I think that music appeals to everybody in a different way. I like Melissa's voice. I enjoy Ayla. I think Mandisa rocks. I am not a musician, and would never be able to tell who was technically correct. I can tell if I like them, and really don't care if they need dental work, or if they have a weight problem. Don't care if they can dance while they sing, or if they smile funny. After tonite, it is going to be interesting to watch the top twelve, and see which performer can move out of their preferred genre, and who is locked in. That is when I really start to find my favorite "idol".

Nigel said on Good Morning LA, that there will be a shocker in the girl's eliminations and for the guys, someone out of the blue will be eliminated. Oh no.

I was predicting Kinnik and Melissa and Kevin and Will but none of those are surprising. Maybe Lisa and Elliot?

LIsa would be a shocker for the girls and Elliott COULD be out of the blue but so could Ace or Bucky.

I will be hurt if Lisa goes, she has not really impressed me but I like her. I like ALL of the guys so whoever goes will hurt me no matter what.

I hate to say it but I wish 4 of the girls could go and leave the guys ALONE!

OUT OF THE BLUE to me means someone no one would think of - it can't be Taylor because I couldn't get though on his line for a solid hour - I'm thinking Chris or Ace - because they seem to be really popular and those would be OUT OF THE BLUE.

i really enjoyed all of the performances last night! can't we keep all of the guys?? i really liked all of them, like simon even gideon is growing on me. i will be very sad to see any of them go tonight. my top 2 were definitely taylor and elliott.

I really think that the "out of the blue" clue for the guys points to either Gedeon or Elliot -- I'm leaning towards the former. The judges have had nothing but great things to say about Gedeon. They've loved everything he's sung - even Simon. Like I said in my "opinion-recap" post, I think that Gedeon just doesn't have a fanbase.

Yea, I tend to agree with you - the last couple of weeks his song choices have left me scratching my head - I loved him the first week then it's gone downhill although I think he can sing - it's just not my cup of tea.

Constantine finally got booted because he was just creepy. Those stares and the pseudo snarl were just plain creepy.

Yeah, that and he couldn't sing that well....

I think Ace has too large of a fan base. I would think Elliot or Gedeon. Maybe Will is out of the blue? I guess it all depends on what the voting totals were like the past two weeks.

I just showed Taylor's video to my DS9. He said Taylor should've taken a stage dive at the end! I could really see him doing that one of these weeks!

I hope Will is one of the guys to leave. Kevin was a favorite of mine but he needs more time. He could come back in a couple of years. Ace does nothing for me. I think the two that should be left standing in the end are, Chris and Elliot. I like Lisa and Ayla out of the girls. Lisa needs the right song but she has a great voice. Paris is the one I do not like.

Although I HATE country, Bucky has grown on me and I would like to see him stay around for a little while longer.

So, for the past couple of weeks I've been wondering, "Who does Kevin remind me of?" : (BTW, the Chicken Little thing was cruel to do to the kid). Anyway, last night it finally hit me. Not only is there a physical resemblance but he SOUNDS like him when he talks: Rudy Giuliani! I'm not kidding! Look:

Go ahead, call me crazy but listen to Kevin when he speaks tonight. And, it's not just because they both have a lisp.
