Paula asked Ace about the scar he showed durong the song. She then said "Oh, you'll have to tell me all about how it happended some day."

You hear Simon say "Pauuuuula" as if he was warning her she better stop.

I didn't go back so I don't know if this was mentioned but on the radio this morning they said Katharine McPhee's nipple was showing while she was hearing the judges reactions. I didn't notice and they were saying the material was sheer that she had on and you could see right through it!!

Wow Dialidol has some very interesting figures on there. I am hoping they are off like they were last week. I am very surprised by the person in the last spot..# 10 and really surprised on who is in the # 2 spot!

Looks like everyone except Taylor, Kellie and Chris could be in jeopardy if you compare previous Dialidol results to the actual bottom three. I think Kevin was in 4th from last spot last week.

Taylor and Kellie seem to consistently be #1 and #2.

I was watching it in HD and didn't notice this. (Not that I was really looking though).

If tonight was the first night I had ever watched this show I would not have a desire to ever watch it again. Elliot and Taylor were the only ones that I thought were a little better than OK but everyone else was either just bad or marginal. They didn't show the talent that they really have. I was very disappointed.

Elliot fan here really really mad at herself that she doesn't understand the *&$#@! Tivo well enough to have taped AI last night.
I taped it for one time and thought I'd done a season's pass, so I go out to dinner, came home thinking, oh boy can't wait to watch!!

Anyway, sorry if the answer is buried in this thread, but is there a way to watch the performances online?

And a question for those who like Elliot (please don't tell me he sucked if you think he always sucks), how do you think he held up last night?

What a disappointing night

Lisa - Just ok

Kellie - that song yuk!!

Ace - I thought this was one of Ace' better performances but that's not saying much.

Taylor - still don't get him

Mandissa - someone tell that girl she doesn't have to scream

Chris - what I expected from a rocker

Katherine - I didn't think she was that good like the judges did

Bucky - not into country, didn't know the song but I like Bucky - he's my favorite - voted only for him last night. loved the hat!!

Paris - ummmmmmmmm..........no

Okay, after I slept on it.. and forgot most of those less than stellar performances , here are a few of my observations, comments and opinions.

Lisa... I forgot you even sang last night

Kellie - what the heck was up with the deer in the headlights look you had in the middle of the song? Did you see a ghost or something? Not a Kellie fan but even though, I thought that was her weakest performance yet.

Ace - the only song I actually knew last night - I abandoned most popular music in the 00's and went back to classic rock because..well.. to me, ick. Ace wasn't good, wasn't bad. Just was. I guess considering the competition last night, that was a good thing?

Taylor - love the new look and haircut. Happy that you don't look like my older brother anymore (and I'm 39!) I've been on the Taylor Love Train since day one in the auditions. Not my favorite performance because I love to see him be himself.. he's so darn entertaining - but compared to the others.. you ruled

Mandisa - yikes. First time I ever DIDN'T like her. Now I understand the "Stop Screaming" requests because I was asking that.

Chris - Dude, you had me 100% with Dead or Alive. You ruled back then. Chris, Chris, Chris. Who told you that a song that sounds like "scream scream scream, what if, scream scream scream scream scream what if" is a great idea that will appeal to all the different people out there.. dude, don't listen to them anymore. Sing Chris, don't scream. I know you can sing. I've heard it before.

Katharine - whoa.. I just realized that she Lisa'd it for me. I don't even remember her performance

Bucky - I am NOT a country fan by far but I thought Bucky did very well for that genre of music. Good job Bucky - you should stick to that look and type of music!

Paris - I'm sorry. The kid annoys me (personality wise) and ever since I saw someone on TWOP say she looks like a female Gary Coleman (Hey, don't yell at me! I didn't say it! but seriously.. she does!) I just can't get past her personality and wasn't wowed by her performance. It was just "a'ight"

Elliott - My hometown boy! They are getting you into shape style wise! And I'm glad to see you sing a song and have a little life in you when you do it. Vocally you rule - just still want something more.. can't put my finger on it.. but, considering the competition, Elliott rocked!

I checked out Dialidol.com this morning and I was shocked. Man, I hope they are not legit this week.

Personally, I don't get Kellie Pickler at all......Paris either. I don't know what it is but neither appeals to me. Also, does anyone else think Pickler looks different? It is something about her eyes, they look puffy. Perhaps allergies? I think half of these kids look better before the "stylists" get a hold of them.

I am beginning to think that only Katharine is marketable. I love Ace but his talent isn't going to make him the next Justin Timberlake, jmo.

I am not sure...I didn't see it but I wasn't looking for it....it was "breaking Idol news" on a radio station this morning.

I am on EST so nothing should have been editted. I don't see what they are seeing. Like I said, they only show her below the shoulders when she is talking to Ryan. Her hair is covering the one side of her chest and there is definitely nothing visible on the other side (at least that I can see). You can faintly see where the top line of her bra is but that is it.

I also think if it was visible, the news of it would have been all over the Television without Pity message boards and there is not one word of it.

Travis Tritt announced on Larry King last night that he will be performing on Idol next week. I guess that means that next week is country!

I agree...That is a great upbeat song by Sarah Evans....and really the song that made me fall in love with Sarah.... but Kellie showed no life...when I heard that she was singing it I was excited.....she just seemed tight and nervous....She looked wonderful though...and was not the worst of the night and should be safe.

According to our local paper (www.thesnaponline.com) Kellie has had an ear infection and sore throat since last week. She only rehearsed one day. Perhaps that's the reason for the lack of energy?

More American Idol Phone Number Madness, Wrong Number For Mandisa

American Idol now has it’s first official phone number screw-up for Season Five. During Mandisa’s performance of “Wanna Praise You,” something went wrong with the graphics on the bottom of the screen. The graphics first displayed the correct name and phone number for Mandisa, but without the familiar blue background. The background changed from yellow to red, and when the background finally got to blue, it was showing the wrong name and phone number. The blue graphics showed Taylor Hick’s name and phone number while Mandisa was singing.

I really hope we don't have to do a revote and reshow the performances again....remember when this happened last year (or was it the year before)?
