I really think Ace will go home tonight, but I think that Kellie should be the one going home. It was very painful to hear her sing. Otherwise I loved all the singing last night. I think this years talent is alot better than any other year. I have been a fan since the very beginning.

ITA. She is a pretty girl with a nice voice, but if I have to watch her gaze into the camera one more week I think I will scream. I also do not get the "McFever" thing going on.

Honest question here: For those of you that don't get the "McFever" thing.....do you like Celine Dion?

My theory is....if you like Celine...you like Kat. They both have the same singing style and personality traits. I for one LOVE Celine's style of music and personality. I also really like Katherine.

Different opinion here. I absolutely can't watch or listen to Celine Dion...something about her creeps me out and she sings through her nose imo.

BUT...I like Katharine a lot and she's my #3 after my boys Chris and Taylor.

Ok...here's my rundown from last night:

Chris...it was nice to hear him actually sing a song, and it is one of my all time favorite songs, but I think he's boring...all the time. He just doesn't do it for me.

Paris...there is something about her voice (her singing voice) that just grates on my nerves like fingernails on a chalkboard. I just don't hear the voice that everyone else seems to hear. I had the same problem with Fantasia. I'm not saying they aren't talented...I just don't have an ear for their talent

Taylor...LOVE HIM. He makes me smile for all the right reasons, and isn't that what entertainment is all about. I'd love to see him win this thing after Simon didn't even want to give him a ticket to Hollywood.

Ace...He didn't sound bad tonight...he's just not that good.

Elliot...He looked better tonight. I know he has a good voice, and I think he would do fine recording...I just don't think he's much of an entertainer

Kellie...oh honey...please stop talking. Just stop. And while you're at it, stop singing too. It's time for you to go back to Carolina. I'm sure she is a sweet girl and I wish only the best for her...but I don't think she has what it takes to make it in the music industry. I can't bear to hear another dumb thing come out of her mouth. Actually the whole "snot rag" thing was pretty much the last straw for me.

Katherine...I think she's beautiful. I don't understand people commenting that she is moody because she always seems to be happy and smiling to me. I think she has a great voice...but nerves seem to get the best of her sometimes. I don't like it when she tries to sing low notes. I do think she's and entertainer and could do quite well in the business. But I don't think she's going to win.

My bottom three: Ace, Paris and Kellie. Who should go home: Kellie
Who WILL go home: Ace

I still think the top two will be Chris and Taylor.

Ok...here's my rundown from last night:

I completely agree with the above, and I think he has a limited range. After hearing his performance last night, I now know why screaming is his singing style. He just doesn't do it for me, and I don't get the Chris 'love fest.'

FWIW, I agree with the other views in above post. Regarding Fantasia, I agree with expression, she sounds like 'Mickey Mouse on speed.' It is hard to fathom that people actually buy her CDs.

Hearing them sing 'Kids in America' reminded me of the Junior Idol show that ran that one season. What ever happened to the group they formed and the show itself for that matter? I thought it was SO CUTE!

Also, Re: Fantasia, I think the 'Baby Mama' song says it all

My DD6 remembers this show too. She asks when it is going to be on again so she can try out. LOL


Tonights show is interesting so far.

...I think that tonight's show is going to be the same as they've done the past two years with the top 7. They're going to put 6 of them into 2 groups of 3, and then the 7th person is safe. I think that Taylor is going to be that 7th person, because if he was in any of the groups, his group would be the one that's obviously safe. Either Kellie and Chris will be in separate groups, so it will be hard to pick out which group is the bottom. Or Kellie and Chris will be in the same group and it will be shocking because it turns out to be the bottom 3. That's how I see it happening tonight.

I think you may be on to something! Right now Taylor is safe, and Chris and Kellie are in separate groups. Hmmm.....
