i thought that James has referred to her as his wife at one point and his fiance at another. so, i'm not sure.

of course, i'm pregnant and my brain can be mush sometimes, so...

regardless, i hope that they have a lifetime of happiness. and i think it's cool (but also sad) that two of the other contestants will be his groomsmen. i only say sad because it makes me wonder if he has any true, lifelong friends that are standing up for him as well. he seems like he's had a rough go of it. and even though he was not my favorite, i still wish him the best.

I think I heard them refer to her as both throughout the season too.

I agree with the second statement too. The first thing I thought of when I read the article was does he have any other friends? I would have to guess no too because of his childhood and people picking on him sadly Hopefully now though he has made some lifelong friends!

I bet he has other friends to pick from, but when you spend a lot of time with the same people you tend to get close to them. It makes perfect sense to me.

One summer I had to spend twelve weeks on a bus with the same ten people and there were a few I didn't care for when I joined them. After the trip was over we were all best of friends. I even go to see the ones still performing when ever I can. I've celebrated their weddings and cried with them at a funeral or two.

I'm just really looking forward to tonight and I don't really care who wins it. My favorites are gone (Pia & James) but I'm sure they will all have great careers.

Just read this article about Chris Medina being denied tickets to the Idol finale. That's ridiculous! The show certainly made enough money off his tragic story!

There is also a link to the ITunes single he put out (which I didn't even know about). It's a tearjerker! For crying out loud, AI, give the guy a set of tickets!

Mandy is usally the go to for this kind of info, but she is leaving for vacation today. Go with being surprised...no preconcieved thoughts of how songs could/should sound

What a pathetic question to ask! So she just singled out Haley and not the other two? For all she knows, Haley cold have been the top vote-getter that week (especially after the Randy stunt). I'm glad James had the class and quick thinking to reply the way he did.

Sooo......I was going to say 2 things: first, I've never seen a link like this where you have to highlight it. Then, I was going to say that since only Haley's choices were known, I wasn't going to look - I was just going to wait and be surprised. But then I clicked on your post to quote and reply, and the songs were there for me to see. Oh well!

Not so sure I like "Rhiannon" as the producer's pick. Of all the songs out there, I would think he could come up with something better. Her own pick I've never heard of, so I guess it will be somewhat of a surprise! I had been thinking of what I would like her to pick, and I was really hoping she would choose a Beatles song, maybe "The Long and Winding Road" - something timeless. And I just thought she should sing a song that was originally sung by a guy or group, not a girl.

I think Pia got the most because of the controversy. I only saw that she was hooked up with the dancer on this board but saw her on everything!
