Official 2025 Universal Studios Orlando HHN 34 Discussion Thread

Yeah - I always assume there will be an hour of rain no matter what the weather says. Always bring an emergency poncho at a minimum
I’m an expert, I packed light weight & heavy ponchos
&
Small folding umbrellas and bigger ones with the automatic up/down feature

Only rained our 1st night, for over an hour, non stop poured. Dispute % being in single digits

Of course, all stayed, nice & dry, in the hotel room.

We are the proud owners of yet another set of U ponchos. o_O
We upgraded to unlimited express for tonight. Plan to be in just before 5pm. Can’t decide where to start though, any thoughts?

We started at Wyatt Sicks on Sunday and that worked well without express.
It consistently didn’t have more than a 10 min wait the week we were there in early September.
I started in the back both times with express. But that's just me personally. I like to get the longest queues out of the way
We did FNAF once, early entry. That was enough for us. Were able to work it in before park close another time. Had 50 min wait time posted, only waited 20 min
Thanks. Was wondering if Terrifier would be mad to go to first when we get in just before 5pm. Will be using express.

FNAF I assume is fairly insane throughout the night and still a longish wait even with express. Not sure what point to head for that.
Did u check out Thrilldata website for recent wait times? Quite helpful with strategizing.

We started 2 Terrifier most nights, worked out well for us…able to get it, sometimes one of the others in that area & then Jason before the horde was let into park.

Thanks everyone we ended up starting FNAF, the normal line was full to capacity. We got there just before 5 and were in the house at 5.30. We were happy with that.

Then Terrifier with a 17 minute wait. It was brutal in the sun, would not have fancied stay and scream for that.

WWE next, 7 minutes and EL Artista 10 minutes before moving round the park.

Just came back from a 2 week Universal trip and did 10 nights of HHN.

Overall it was much better than last year. Only house that I was not thrilled with was Graves of Flesh - it just seems like the same house has been done over and over. Felt the same with Galkin.

Terrifier was my favorite - a lot had to do with the people in front of me - if you get people that are totally freaked out by Art it makes for a great walkthrough and great interactions with the SAs playing Art - so I tend to watch for the right people to follow into line.
Jason was also quite good - yeah its repetitive - but a lot of fun.
No issues with any of the other houses as long as you get a good walkthrough.
Houses had the usual problems of missing SAs early in the night and also missing SAs during cast changes - seemed to be a lot of issues with cast changes this year - Maybe they should just stop things for 2 minutes to do the change - nothing like waiting in line and then half the SAs are missing at the first half of the house.
Five night was pretty cool for what it was.

The scare zones were just OK for me - the Vampire one seemed pretty much the same as a few years back when they did something very similar. Toxic 20s did not work for me. The statues zone was better than nothing I guess.
The chainsaws are getting kind of old as well TBH - it was nice to have something in the Simpsons area - but was only 2 or 3 at a time and really not getting many people at all. I think people are over the chainsaws for the most part.
Club horror was decent. I didn't spend much time there but it was good.

Cat lady was very well done - I assume we will see a house in a year or so. Some folks were saying she might be a future Icon - also theories that the little girl in dolls might be a younger version of the cat lady.

They no longer have blinky cups - I must have missed this and was not too happy with the cup and the watery drinks.
I had bad luck with all the food as well - everything was sitting under the heat lamps too long and not very good.

I know I should have skipped the food and drinks but I always get tempted - in future I may as well get the mocktails.

Anyway overall a very good year.
I did really like the set up of the houses as well with the four in the back lot.
If you do the houses in the correct order it can save a lot of time IMO - a bit late to mention it now but.
Hatchet and Chains bring you to the dolls entrance.
Then do the two back houses - Fallout and Galkin. Depending on wait times I might do fallout twice.
Then Jason
Then El Artista exits you to the back area where teh other 4 houses are.
Where you can do Graves of Flesh then Terrifier.
Then the walk to five nights and back again to WWE.

Did not see Art wandering all that often - I think the people chasing him down ruined that - I mostly saw him in the golf cart going up and down the road by Fallout.

I also did the behind the scenes tours and they were good but I think Ill pass om them next year.
Seems like it become more of a hunt for the hidden lizards or frogs or whatever than details.
Not sure why they did not have a least one IP on the 3 house - seemed a bit pricy considering the 6 house is not much more and gets you lunch as well. Lunch was basic but decent.
