I didn't like the song that Lauren just sang or the way Lauren sang it - not sure which since I am not familiar with the song or the way it's supposed to be sung. She sounded kind of tinny to me, not good vocals.

I noticed that this season the background singers have really been drowning out a lot of the contestants.

That is how I felt. She sounded rushed..it just started out fast and maybe not in her right range. She fixed it but maybe it threw her a bit.

Wasn't my favorite of hers.

Thats exactly what my husband just said too. Really disappointed with the outcome this year. If this is THE best Idol should hang it up.
