To the OP and everyone who posted links, thanks for saving me some $$ this Christmas. My girls are asking for only AG items and one of the items is this stinkin' camper. Keeping my fingers crossed that it shows up on Saturday.

My DD9 really *wanted* the camper too. I read some reviews and found that the rear wheels don't move, and for one user, the "stabilizing jacks" in the front broke off w/in the first hour. Overall the user was pleased... but for THREE HUNDRED $$$$ OUCH!

We told my dd about the review and she was really disappointed that the wheels don't move. Turns out she had grand plans for Daddy to build her a jeep to "tow" it with... (love that she thinks Daddy can do anything!)

That was the conversation in our house... and I don't think she wants the camper any more at all.. [where are the angels who sing hallelujah???] Good vibes that maybe something will come through for you... unless you don't want it too, but 50lbs of camper and that price point are tough for me. Its cool, but did I say it was $300???!!?

I just got an email-only preview from QVC reminding me about the show and saying I could buy the Lanie, Rebecca, Julie, and Bitty Baby sets now. So, I'm sure the others will be for sale much closer to the show. At least we know why these four are up now; it wasn't a mistake afterall.

Yep. We had the same conversation after I read the reviews to her. It is the only Christmas present she is asking for so I think I'm destined for a 50lb camper in the house.

Thank you so much for posting the Lanie link! I've been checking the qvc Web site and couldn't find it.

We got the new AG catalog last night, and DD7 spent a good 40 minutes telling me about how much she wants Lanie. If she could only have one thing for Christmas, she would pick Lanie, and she would be happy. Well, she'd like the accessory pack too, but she really, REALLY wants Lanie. And on and on...

Good. We'll definately be getting Kit. My other DD has her heart set on Felicity. Thank goodness we'll be by an AG store in a couple weeks so we can pick that up along with an outfit or two. Thanks so much for taking the time and calling. It takes the stress and wondering off of the rest of us.

ugh, DD wants Lanie and wanted Ruthie, I seriously think Julie is the best value, its on QVC's website. They only show 4 dolls, but I am sure there will be more like a PP mentioned b/c the show is 2 hours long.

Not a big fan of Lanie, she is just ok.
