/American Girl on QVC - 9/11 from 4-6 pm EST

Wow thanks!
I think I'm gonna jumpstart my Xmas shopping with one of these dolls. I'm leaning towards Lanie for my DD.

For those of you who saw AG on QVC last year...what's showing on the website now, do you think that's ALL that QVC will be selling/showing on-air later? I don't wanna jump at something now and then like something better when the show's on-air later. (I'm limited to 1 item since vacation is less than a week away!)

Last year whatever they had online is what they had on the show. I watched both shows anyway, but there wasn't anything different. HTH.

I called QVC about the bitty twins since that one doesn't have a discounted price or easy pay. The lady said it would be $152.94 during the show. With $17 for shipping, I think I will wait and take my chances. Anyone remember if they sold out prior to show?

This does help, thank you!

Now I gotta decide on Lanie from QVC or a bunch of outfits/accessories from AG directly (can only spend about $150 right now). We have Molly & Emily and DD's only a year old so she can't play with them yet, but I'd like to build a collection for her, for when she can play with them. So now do I get another doll or some extras? I think I'm leaning towards Lanie since I can get the other stuff at anytime...

Or the bitty's since she can play with them sooner than she can with the regular dolls?

Oh boy, what to do?!?!! :goodvibes I'm too indecisive! Enjoy your shopping/collecting, everyone!

Hmm, I wonder if Ivy will be cheaper during the show since she doesn't have an anniversary price now. Guess I'll have to watch now.

I *NEED* those bittys!

However, my mom is paying the $100 and I'd have to cover the rest, thing is we told her it'd be a littler Christmas since we're doing WDW in November, she was okay with that.

I can't make up my mind!!:confused3

She's 10 will she even really be able to play with the wagon? I'm thinking only to sit them in for display maybe.

I like the lwoer price during the show BUT I don't know if I'll be home to order during the show, I have a few things I have to go out and do today. :headache:

I think I'll add it to my cart for now then think on it a while then IF I'm home later I'll snatch it at the lower show price (hopefully) if I miss it she'll just have to settle for the babies that are $95 in the book.

I am bummed that we just bought Lanie in NYC a few weeks ago - this deal is great!

I am thinking about Kaya, although my DD hasn't expressed an interest. I know she'd love the foal, but not sure about the horse.

Anyone have Kaya?

i just ordered Lanie and Ivy. my dd4 will get one for her birthday in october, and then get the other one for Christmas. I showed her the dolls on qvc this morning and she wanted all of them.

I was just on the QVC website, and it looks like their Today's Special Value has sold out. They are having One Time Only specials now. I wonder what the One Time Only special is going to be for the American Girl show?????

DD5 wants Lanie for her b-day next month. I am glad I waited. Now she gets the outfit and accessories too!

Ugh, I just can't decide what to do. I had DD look at the dolls on the website and she picked out Kit, Josefina, Ruthie & Rebecca! I asked her which one that she really wants and she narrowed it down to Josefina & Kit. I really wish that Kit was on easy pay. I am just torn whether I should order one now, or wait and let her look at the dolls in person in a month when we are going to the new AG store in Kansas.:confused3

I would get your DD the Bitty Baby(ies) so she can plan with them now or very soon. We gave our DD hers when she was about 1 1/2 and she has enjoyed playing with it. BB is super cute and wonderful for little ones.

Good luck!

As of right now I'm not seeing a different price online for the bitty twins.

same here. When she said $152, I said "$152 not 162, right?" and she said "yes, they will be $152.94."

I'm thinking the $162 is it, would they really lower it just by $10 during the show?

Ugh...I would like to save another $10 but really is it worth loosing the extras for $10?

How much use would a 10 yr old get out of the wagon, though...honestly...someone?

A 10 year old... honestly my DD6 has outgrown her bitty babies and the twins. I don't think there would be much play with the bitty wagon at that age, other than for display. :confused3
