Can anyone give me any info on this like where it is? what it looks like? any photos??

I've just had an email from heidi and this can be contracted at 12 months but i'm not sure what and where it is so i was hoping your guys can help me

Thanks

It's in the American Adventure at Epcot. I believe on the top floor. StephSFL had part of her reception there, but I can't seem to find the thread. Maybe PM her?

apparently there is the american adventure retonda that holds around 100 and then the parlour, but i'm not sure what this place looks like. I have seen the rotunda but not the parlour so if anyone can help that would be great

Janine did have her reception in the parlor and it looked lovely. A fellow (as in male) Dis'er also used that location for a *surprise* vow renewal for his wife a year or two back. He planned the whole vow renewal on the sly -- what a guy! His photos looked lovely and I believe everyone had a wonderful time.

The guest list for the parlor is limited. Ask the FTW folks what the maximum is.

I just found this here on the board -- perhaps you could PM this Dis'er:

December 2007
5th - jcnovak1-WP, American Adventure Parlor, Illuminations Dessert Party - French Island Upper

I have used this link to get pics of the Parlor. We are having our brunch there after our morning wedding in the Rotunda.

Here are the details that I got in my guide from DFTW. The venue rental is $250. The only problem is that there is no place for dancing. There is a limit of 50 guests for the location.

I have a cousin who is a musician at Epcot and he has played a lot of private events in the parlor. He said it's a great place. I'm going down in May for a site visit, so I am excited to see it myself.

I had my reception at the AAR, but we rented out the Parlor for access to the restrooms. It is a great space that really doesn't need much decoration. The actual parlor seating area (can't have food or drink in this area) has a great view of Illuminations at night and the eating area off to the side of the Parlor is nice as well- it even has wall with a china display. The restrooms are not in the best shape when we used the facilities- huge pudles behind the toilets that were leakign and the wallpaper was peeling off the walls. Hopefully, they will be in better shape by the time you see it.
To get to the Parlor, you have to use an elevator that is behind what looks like a faux-door in the front of the building. The elevator holds about 5-6 adults, so if you have a large group you may need to take a few trips. I have heard rumors that you have to pay extra for someone to operate the elevator, but we never paid such a fee or saw it in any of the paperwork.

I hope this info helps!
